Thanks for your comment on "Pagoda Detail". The little round's were well above my head (which is a fairly long way from the ground to begin with), so I had to zoom in to about 10x to get this image. I like how washed out the colours are - not an effect of the photography, but just from so many years of being exposed to the elements!

Hello Aubrey, I'm touched that you've added me to your Friends list... thank you. I really enjoy popping into your Gallery and looking at your South African photos. I didn't make it over to the Eastern seaboard during my visit to SA, so your pictures help fill-in what I missed.

Yes Aubrey I am trying my best to get as much of the rebuilding on disk as I can. This is an event which once gone will be gone forever save in the memories of those of us who experienced it. The the lies and historical reconstruction will occur as those with political agendas work to erase the truth about what happened and rebuild the truth it as they want. I want to be able to show in photos what really happened.

As for Secret Garden Rework I'm glad you like the new version. I think the original was better, but most folks agree with you. They like the soft tones and grey washouts of the new version better. Either way is fine with me. I'm just here to learn. Thanks for your comment.
