Hello! Thanks a lot for your comments on "My Winter :-)". They are very much appreciated... I also noticed the lack of light, but it was a dreary day... it was nice hearing from you and thanks again! :-)

Salut.

Your works are breathtaking and beautiful, and you are now one of my favourite artists on caedes. You photos really make me wanna go to belgium (much like Joost's photos before he apparently removed them) To bad i can't speak Flemish otherwise i would type my comments on your pictures in it. lol anwyway i do have one picture, which is similar to the kind of photos you take. it's called 'wandering' , and if your interested please give me your opinion of it (if you haven't already, i admit i haven't actually checked whether you have already commented on it). Anyway keep the beautiful art coming.

It changes each time I visit. It's too bad you don't live closer I know you would enjoy visiting. Thank you for your comments I really appreciate it.

Thank you Lucy for those thoughtful comments about “Courting Kookas”. They do appear to have big heads but it’s the angle that makes them appear that way. Having said that though, they do have an extremely sturdy beak, which they use to carry snakes high into the air. Then they drop the snake onto a rock. They might have to do that a couple of times before the snake is safe for consumption.

Many thanks, Lucy. One of these days, I'll get used to the mousepad on my laptop. I'm always misplacing posts like "Southern Exposure" with a wiggle of the finger after I select library.

I remember seeing the young "monks" having their Class-on-the-grass in the viewfinder. Rather than move a couple of feet to eliminate then from the frame, I elected to leave them in the shot. One of the really nice things about almost all of the Heritage Sites in the UK is the ability for Children and adults to roam freely among the ruins. I strove to emphasize that by consciously including them.

One of the beauties of digital imagery is that each can be altered by the user to achieve their desired result. Please feel free to modify this to fit your tastes. I'm never offended if someone adapts one of my snapshots to their enjoyment, merely flattered that they liked it enough to make it fit their needs.

Take care and God bless.

d

Hi there Lucy,

I was looking at my faved Pictures and I really have to say that I saw a lot of good photographers here in caedes and in the depths of the internet, but I really really think that you are the most talented individual I have ever seen in my Life ! I mean nearly ALL your pictures are outstanding, there is so much drama, so many emotions, perfect angles awesome colors and all of them make me feel better and help me to forget about the boring days at work or at home. First it was like holiday for my eyes, but I think it is like holiday for my soul ! I hope that you keep up your work and still post many many more magical pictures :)

Take care and god bless

Cain,
I have no idea who you are, but your work is outstanding. I don't go to this website very often, but when I do I always look at the art you post. Most things you create are deep, dark, and emotional, and it takes true genius to capture complex emotions such as despair, desolation, and hope. Keep it up!

So I think it's about time I tell you Cain. I've been using your art as backgrounds since I found out about your work. Whenever I get a new laptop, updates, reformat, change OS, this is the first place I go. I don't know how much that means to you, but to me you have been the source of the most beautiful and contrasted art I've ever seen. Thank you for making my desktop awesome for 10 years now. Keep up the good work.

I'm not much around anymore, quite sorry for that, but life do get in the way... I'm quite late in saying this but : Thank you so much guys for the awesome feedback. I can't believe it's been already 10 years. Thanks to every single one of you who were kind enough to share your thoughts over the years on some of the images I made. It means a lot!
