Limelight Patio

The Limelight Lodge in downtown Aspen. This image was taken off the side patio area to emphasize light and shadow. My iPhone 4s made the capture. Some PS to balance contrast to emphasize brick texture. Hope you enjoy!

Just any FYI...I don't make any changes too these photo's. All the colorization is done on the camera, I just snap the picture and upload it.

laid back? u bet i am, my family gets pretty ticked at racial comments and or profanity mind u, but i dont see anything as raciesim unless it is a direct threat on that person or community as a whole because of their race, so i guess i want to say if u are offended by a few select terms that u just cant shake off and get on with life, but instead have to censor people and make a big deal out of jokes and comments, then i feel sorry for you. but, thats me, not the people who are complainin ; )

Tracy - I've just seen your updated comment on "just a soap bubble". I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it really is just a soap bubble! The colours in them fascinate me, so I tried to capture that (camera on tripod, black card as background). It didn't really work, but I like it as a desktop anyway. 'Shrooms would've been a much better explanation - maybe I'll try 'em next time... Thanks for your interest :-)

No problem Tracy that was a really great edit you did on "Painted Lady"! I love the title too, when I look at the original shot closer now I sort of see a lady in the highlighted areas that I didn't see before. That was maybe not what you meant with it but it had that effect... :)
I'm happy that the contest have had such fine submissions. I'm sure it will be a tough call to judge in the end... ;-) I think this is good fun too but I have a bit of a creative hangup right now... I'm not good enough to competer with you guys. ^_^ Damn you are good! :D I feel honored that my shots are used by such fine artists in this highly creative way. :-)

Thanks for the nice comments on Hyper-Space, Tracy. That's a plugin called Dragon Fly that I used for the gossamer stuff...works with either Photoshop or PSP. Glad you like the effect. =)
