That of "pauperes Commilitones Christi Templique Salomonis" (The poor fellow of Christ and the Temple of Solomon), better known as the Knights Templar or simply the Templars, was the most famous religious orders of christians chivalry. The origin dates back to years 1118-1120, following the First Crusade (1096), when most of the riders returned back to Europe and the small Christian militias had been perched in the few centre settlements.
There are some exhibitions of remembrances like the one in the picture in Italy, were, particularly interested is the uniforms dressed and the sword capabilities demonstrations.
It was very interesting for me. I hope this picture may be for you.
Thank you Ed for the kind words on Onlookers. Yes, the Philippines has lots of pretty places. I am having fun sharing photos from the Philippines with you guys.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Thank you, Edoardo, for your comments. For me they are priceless because they are professional and I am only an amateur photographer. I think you're a professional, because your photos are of a high professional level.
Thank you very much.

My sincere thanks, Ed, for your very kind comments on my recent uploads. I'm embarrassed in that I haven't been able to respond individually; nor have I left comments on your excellent shots: it's a busy mess in hospital with all the clinical work and added administrative issues! In fact, I gotta rush to hospital right now -on a Saturday I'm not even on call! Anyway, please accept my cordial thanks and deep apologies at the same time! I very much value your input!

Thank you for so much feedback. Being just an amateur I greatly appreciate it. So much of your work is just stunning. Even the after work is choice. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Ed, thanks so much for stopping by Bowling Anyone? While the idea is not bad, I'm not entirely happy with the quality and hope to find time to either improve on it or come up with something better but do appreciate your time and comment.
Hello Edoardo...thank you so very much for enjoying my creation of the seashells. I enjoyed doing a scan on them. I love seashells and it made me smile when I saw your kind comment. Thank you again. Verena

Hi Ed, I'm glad you like Lake Lure Inn and Spa, I am just not sure if I like it...there is something about it I don't like so I may just take it down
Hope your day is going well
The "Dock" was taken on the nicest day of the whole week. and I did see two large turtles swimming near the dock. my resort was very nice and rather quiet the kids were back in school and the fall foliage hadn't really started yet so fall leaf change watchers hadn't come yet.
Thanks for coming down and looking at the old dock Ed!
Thank you very much Ed for you very encouraging and kind words on Deadwood. Please feel free to stop by anytime and the Fav is a plus...I'm very honored you thought it worthy to do so.

Hi Ed, thanks for viewing and commenting on "To Sharnova-Get well". I only wish I could have had a better camera to catch that view, it is simply beautiful. The mountain I was on is actually a ski resort and to get to the top, you must ride the worlds longest gondola to get there. A great trip!

My amateur likeness is not to discredit saying your work is just about untouchable. Absolutly beautiful and inspirational, and is a huge corner stone to the foundation of where I've been tring to head. Dispite my tendency towards vivid colors, and sharp contrast, your dreamy/dramatic captures are my alter ego I've been trying to discover. We see every day, you see it extraordinary. Fantastic. Your work is an unspoken mentor.
Thank you, sir, for your comments on "An Autumn's Farewell"!!

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork.
Hello Ed....Thankyou for your comment on (CHURCH IN THE GLEN)it is very much appreciated....The church is surrounded by trees with a river flowing close by....Thankyou again....All the best to you Ed...........................................Mick.
Thanks for taking my 9th floor balcony "view down Daytona Beach". Ed... The hotel had 4 swimming pools, 2 indoor and 2 outside, a lazy river, a childs pool and hot tubs and hardly took any pictures the whole week...plus I was sort of leery what the salty and moist ocean air might do to the lens

October in Costa Rica....the rainy season and yes it did rain everyday for about 3 hours then cleared up, which was fine you just planned your day around it. The resort was on a hill overlooking the ocean . The Pacific was clean and clear, but just doesn't have that beautiful Turquoise color the Caribbean does. Lots of tropical flowers and exotic wildlife from colorful birds to being woken up every morning by howler monkeys making a racket in the trees.

Hey Eduardo, nice to see you fav'ing Kolli Hills 4...It was an accidental capture and when I returned, I found that it was one of the better ones from that trip and fav of mine as well.
Hi Ed, thanks very much for the visit and feedback on Private Moment...much appreciated...have decided that while a good idea it was not a good quality so will be deleting it and replacing it with my final version of Distrust for the contest.
Hi Ed,
I have learned every safety tip and rule about the ocean so I know exactly what to do in every situation So I am not afraid of the water and jump in and enjoy it following a few common sense rules...I thought I would post this photo to help others have a fun beach holiday without any problems...Thanks for looking at my water safety tip
Thanks for sharing the sunrise with me from my 9th floor balcony Ed. I'll make some coffee and donuts and we can sit outside...looks like pretty day at deadly Daytona Beach we can look for sharks and watch people carried away in rip tides..LOL. . I do take sunrise/sunset shots but rarely put one up
Hi Ed, thank you very much for the visit and encouraging feedback on DISTRUST - Final Version...very much appreciated...also for the tip on the portraiture filter.
