Thanks Jerome, for the info about the vulture. I took photos of many birds at a large Bird park today - about 125 km from my home - and didn't have time to note all the names.
If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect, then why practice?
Thanks for your very kind remarks on my Fawn photo. anne =D
Tell me if you like it or don't but be sure to tell me why! I promise to always give honest and sincere (albeit gentle when necessary) critiques. MY NEW YEARS TIP for all, go have some fun with your new gear you got for Christmas. Do some things you rarely or never do. If you always shoot scenics, go shoot macros (or as close up as you can get.) Practice on different subjects, try new lighting techniques, bracket your shots (shoot the same image at different exposures and different apertures), get down low and shoot from your back, your belly, and your knees. Bend, twist, lean and climb up on things. Shoot toward the sky (carefully - blown out sunlight is NOT attractive :-) Just do something different and amaze yourself then share with us :-) Love you Caedians.
Thank you dear friend for your kind comments, and thank you also for be always there, it is very nice of you! Waiting for more of your wonderful photos!

Hello Jerome - I'm really grateful for the kind comments you left for my picture Royal Couple. For a Caedes 'newbie' such as myself, it is especially appreciated.

Thank you for your very nice comment on "Hidden Treasures". The camera I use is a Nikon D5000 and I was using a 55/200mm nikkor lens with that shot. The ground was my tripod, but with this camera I used the LCD as my viewfinder as it swivels on this model and comes in very handy for some shots. I have only had the camera since February so still have alot to learn with it myself as it is also my first SLR.
Hi Jerome, thanks for your comments on 'Enter if you dare' - alas I am too late for the contest but never mind. :) Patti

Hi Jerome, you are right it has been a long while since i have posted. Work committments have left me with very little time for myself. Not a lot of chances to take or post photographs. School summer holidays now so hopefully a few more posts from me soon. Thankyou for taking the time to comment on Fieldtip.
