Hi Jan. Just wanted to thank you for your recent posts on my photos. I always love hearing what you have to say about them. The snake actually was not venomous, but still gave us a good rush. Thanks again for the comments my friend.
Thanks JQ for stopping by Catching Shadows. I know it's not DT material, but I thought it was a cute image myself. Wish I could learn how to do more with them, but She had a blast and that's all that matters.
Hi Jan many thanks for your comment on YELLOW CAB, glad you think it was "cool"!! It's funny, wasn't going to post that one as thought people might think its silly!!! But its got quite a good response!
Hi Jan, thankyou for your lovely and thoughtful comment on "Rosey Blues", it has really helped me through the loss of my beloved dog. Take care, Kelcey.

Keep five yards from a carriage, ten yards from a horse, and a hundred yards from an elephant; but the distance one should keep from a wicked man cannot be measured.
Hey Jan. I know in some shots blur is a good thing but it just drives me nuts. My eyes are messed up anyways so if I see blur, it's either my eyes not working together right or my glasses need cleaned. Stan gave me some tips about black velvet so I'm gonna play with that for a little while now. :-)

Hi Jan, sending you a belated but very sincere thanks for visiting my gallery recently, not only to give feedback but to leave such a thoughtful get well message for my mum. I have showed her the comments from all you lovely people and she was overwhelmed by your kindness. Mum is recovering well and we both really appreciate that you took the time to think of us. Love and blessings, Kelcey.
What is it about people's voting? Both you and I have good shots in the contest yet yours is rated at 53 and mine's at 50. wtf? A shot has to be really bad for me to rate it 5 or below. Makes me wonder what standard the voters are using....

Hey Jan...I'm way behind on my thanks you's, but as always thanks so much for your comments on my recent posts. I really enjoyed your comments on "The Cover"...the "turtle on a biscuit" comment made me laugh, haha! But, yeah I can do that...I love to surf and I'm always in a bind when the surf gets really big (do I surf or do I photograph)

Hi Jan, Thank you for your kind words about CrazyMesh Butterflies. All my Mesh pictures are very simply made - just fooling around with Brushes, Kaleidoscope, layers and light plugins in PhotoFiltre...I took a quick look at your gallery too. Some memorable photos there! Going back for more (LOL)

Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich."
Oh dear heavens, SHUT UP, will ya? ( Storms off dragging tongue, leaving a trail of saliva and dying a thousand shrimp....er deaths...)

Also ive seen and voted on your last two macro uploads and think they are stunning. The clarity and focus of these intense close ups are just amazing. I particularly love the ladened ladybug! So beautiful!

Hello Jan...Many,many thanks for viewing (AT EASE)and for your lovely comments,it is as you know very much appreciated...I love to be out walking just as dawn is breaking and to use that wonderful light in my photography....Thankyou again...All the very best to you Jan.........Mick.
Kudos for the high placing in the Perspective challenge. I voted higher, but was evidently overruled by less magnanimous souls. I've never believed in 'penalizing' an artist because the work was easy or done for play. All that matters is the result and you hit a home run.
