Thanx a lot for the comment on Bathtime. Been a bit hectic this side, couldn't get to the "thankyou's and comments", but appreciate that you took the time to leave such nice comments on my work. Have a great weekend.

I am unfortunately not sure what the settings were. Took it a while back already. Using a small Kodak Easyshare Camera. But think he's doing quite a good job, so far.. thanx once again.

Hey thanks for offering some input, and yes I am new to uploading on here, I have been coming here for a couple of years downloading desktops but had never registered. I have always liked photography and enjoyed taking pictures, but at the moment I don't have a good camera so I have to work with what I have got! LOL. But I am saving some money to get a good camera so I can enjoy photography more! :) Thanks for commenting on my images, they are not the best quality, but I still enjoyed taking them and sharing! :)

Thanks for your comments on "Billions and Billions and Billions....", Mannie. I plan to shoot this region of the sky in December when that part of the sky is in the earth's shadow when M51 reaches the zenith. If I can double the exposure time, all the galaxies in that patch of the sky should be visible.

I hope to get the hang of this stuff so I can do some out-of-this-world work. This photo covers an area of the sky about half the size of your fist with your arm fully extended.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Thanks for the great comments on "Placid Creek." I appreciate it. This is the only image I've uploaded from this particular location. Thanks again, Richard, for your kind comments on "Fangorn Forest" and for adding it to your favorites. The morning I took this shot was a little foggy, and I just happened on this spot along the trail. Just a bit of luck, actually. Aside from some small adjustments to contrast and some sharpening of the image, what you see is what I saw through the camera's viewfinder.

And thanks, as well, for the nice comments on "The Edge of Night" and "Shoreline Sunrise." Much appreciated, as always.
