Thank you for your comment on Willow catkins. You asked where they are from - this shot was taken in my fields - Wales, allthough i think you find them allswhere too.
Hi Mimi. I appreciate you sharing the luck with me on "Irish Surprise". I think that's what happens when you leave a nice comment for someone on St. Paddy's day... ;)
Thanks, Mimi! I'm so happy you enjoyed 'Purple Roses'. Your avatar seems to place these beauties high on your likeablility list. Also, thanks for your remarks on 'Calla Lily.
Hi Mimi. Thanks for the wonderful comments on (Spring is Made for Lovers). I see you are a flower lover. I am typically not but I guess we both liked this one. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Thanks again~
well, i love your favorites gallery. In fact there's at least one pic in there that's in mine as well, and several others that belong in mine. Soo.... it's a truly great compliment that you enjoyed my photo. Like I said, never been big on flowers but I suggest you check out crusader's work (if you haven't already) with flowers since I do in fact like those and we seem to have very similar tastes in pictures.
Well I am much newer here than you even, Mimi. I think the best tip I've picked up so far is the free wallpaper changer compliments of pictureshare.net. I download all my favorites and put them in a folder on my computer. Then tell this program where the folder is and it changes my desktop every 5 minutes (or whatever other period of time I want). There are so many great pictures I wouldn't know what to do without it.
Thank you for the nice comment on(more flowers and orchids for BJ).And i thank you for all the kind words and support on my work.Very much appreciated,Mimi.
Thank you very much for your sweet words on "Stuart". He does like to get dirty on his walks but also willingly jumps in the tub for a bath! Of course he knows that he will be rewarded with a treat afterwards hehe clever fellow! Thanks Mimi:-)
Mimi, thanks for the comment on "Iris". These are my wifes favorites. There must be 200 in the yard. These were the first to bloom. I'm glad you could enjoy. Andrew
Mimi: Thanks for the comment on "Tulip". I agree that the image is a little bright. I'm also a novice. I think if i set the f-stop a little lower that would take care of the problem. I'm trying to focus on framing, perspective, depth of field to start with. The technical stuff comes later. Thanks for your observations. Andrew
Mimi, Thanks for the comment on "Iris redux" Irises are my favorites right behind Glads. My wife has planted hunderds of Irises. When they all bloom it's absolutely gorgeous. Andrew
Mimi, thank you very much for taking the time out to compliment on (Swing Me Higher). I'm sorry that I don't know what kind of tree it is. I often take pictures that catch my eye without knowing much about the subject. Hope you can still enjoy it :). Maybe someone will come along and post the answer on there, as I'm sure many Caedes users would know that one~
Thanks also for your comments on (Two Steps Back). If you do find out for sure what type of tree is in (Swing Me Higher) you can post it on the image discussion since other might be wondering as well :). Thanks,
It's so nice to get such thoughtful comments like yours. They are very much appreciated. Your gallery is wonderful. We took a picture of the same kind of tree! ("Canopy of Flowers") Anyway, thanks again!
Good morning Mimi. Thanks for leaving me terrific comment on Never Done. Would we really want to go back there? :-? I guess these days will be called that too one day, but I'm only going back soooo far. ;)
