Hi Pat
thanks a ton for all the advice on my image. I'm changing the name to Long Winding Road. We had actually gone on a trip to Vegas, Grand Canyon, and LA a year ago..so I don't think I have any more pics of the road..sorry..I do have several pics of the Arizona desert from the same trip which I might put up here...Noor
I glad that you took the time to look at my image View of a dying giant. I designed it as if it here a photograph setting the back ground a little at a blur. If you decide what you feel is wrong with the image feel free to let me know. I would deffinetly be interestd.
Thanks for your comments on my long forgotten. was driving around that day lookin for a "beautiful" abandoned farm house...and this is all i got..lol thought the differnt textures were interesting...and the whole pix told the whole story..thanks for your time and comments.
Hello, thanks for your remarks on 'Frozen haze'. Indeed, the nut tree was not frozen, you could not see the branches. But I liked it as a natural border. When we have a foggy day again, I will see what I can do! Take care.
Thanks for dropping by...Room for Hearts...glad you liked it :D Also...for the bigger heart on the upper-right corner...yup...I do see what you mean, can't fix it though :'(
Hi there Pat ! How nice to meet someone new ! I want to thank you for commenting on Tempest, I'm really glad you liked it & I really appreciate you taking the time to leave such nice comments.

Hi Pat, thank you very much for your feedback on "Frozen Berries 2". Ireally appreciate your taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment. You are right about the focus, this is a thing I struggle permanently with... And also with the other things you mentioned - I will try better next time.
I don't know which kind af berreis they are, they looked a bit like rosehips, but I'm not sure.
Well, thanks again and have a great day!

Hi pat, thank you for browsing through my gallery and leaving such nice comments on "North Point 1" and "Pond and Reed"! I'm glad you liked them! I have two or three other ocean shots here on caedes (they are my best ones) ...
So thanks again, and have a nice evening.
Pat, firstly I'd like to thank you for stopping by and leaving comments on my page. Bollywood is the Indian (Bombay) Film Industry (just like Hollywood). The whole idea behind that photo was that (a) My friend was oblivios of the fact that I was clicking his pic (b) His natural emotions are captured (c) The title solitude coz of the atmosphere adding to the element. and the fact that there was no one except for the two of us. Lastly, the idea behind people photography doesn't necessarily have to associate with knowing that person, to me it is capturing various elements of the human spirit :) I highly appreciate your honest comments!
Both Nathan and I would like to thank you for your kind comments on "Superstition Sundown". I go to Phoenix on business twice a year and unfortunately don't get the time to go far afoot.
As Michael said, my thanks, too for "Superstition Sundown." Additionally, thanks for browsing through my gallery and leaving so many kind comments along the way. So nice to "meet" you. Hope you have a great day!
Thank you for your comment on "Hyatt Fountain". I realized later that it would have looked better if I got more of the pond in the picture, but hindsight is always 20-20.
Thank you for your positive feedback on afternoon tree. So glad you found it so interesting. If you would like a horizontal version I could send you a photo on your email address?
Thanks so much for you wonderful comments on Glory Road Pat, when i wake up in the morning and see a fog on, i hit the road. Sounds like your keeping busy from you profile, nice to hear from you, and keep up the good work in Sunday School. Peace and happiness in all ways. O might i add a big thank you for your comments on Late February it is much appreciated. Dwight.
The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.
Good Morning Pat, i see you been looking at my gallery i really appreciate the comments, it makes it all worth while when people enjoy your work and leave tips on how to make ones work better. Southern Indiana you bet, Dubois, a little town close to Jasper you might have been through here being a truck driver, it's about five miles from Patoka Reservoir, great place to shoot some pics. Have a peaceful and rewarding day. Dwight.

Hi Pat..nice to meet you. Thank you so much for looking around in my gallery ! It´s great to read all your very kind comments on a handful of my images, three butterlies, a duck and a pair of owls. It´s a great challenge to try to get good shots of butterflies - you need a lot of patience...and a good zoom on your camera..and hopefully they sometimes sit still for more than two seconds... It is of course a bit easier to shoot them in a Butterfly House, like these three, but I can tell you I´ve got at least five hundred shots of them in my folders and I´m only pleased with about twenty of them..lol. The background is also important, as I see it...and I also try to create something more than just a photo...I´m glad if you saw some artistic quality in them. Thanks again, Pat !
Hello Pat. Thanks for the comments on "take a walk on the wet side". There's somthing about the gulf and ocean waters that draws me like a magnet. I've got that same love of the smell of salt air and the wind on my face.
Thank you Pat for your interest in Romeo! this pictures was taken about 20 minutes drive from my home!.....It is part of an old church ground...I took several shots of this place, I will post a larger 'overall' image soon!...........Bob
Hi Pat, about The Guardian,
The ckicky was on the fence, but about 90 degrees to the left!
Ha, ha...I guess I lost my bet with one of our collegues!
But now I will delete it, hope you don't mind. Maybe I will upload the original some time.
Grat's on being the first to comment about it!

Jekyll Island Sunrise was the reason I didn't stay home and go to work on that Monday morning. We drove to the coast for a day trip one Sunday morning and decided to spend the night. I'm glad we did. We had a good time and any day taking photos instead of working is a good day. Thanks Pat for the nice comments.

Hello Pat! Thanks for the nice comments on my Lake Blueridge image. I'm glad you took the time to view it. This is a mountain lake in North Georgia that we came upon while looking for something else. This shoreline was near a National Forest Campground. At the end of the shoreline is a young lady enjoying the foggy sunrise.

Thank you Pat for viewing and commenting on my Backyard Dragon Fly 2 image. This was taken in the late afternoon with the light comming from behind the subject. I used my cameras telephoto-macro mode and a fill flash to darken the background and get a better depth of field. Iso 50 at f11. I'm glad that you like it. You may also like the other images like this in my gallery.

When I saw this Andersonville Cat sitting in the sun with that nice weathered wood in the background I had to take the shot. Thanks Pat for taking the time to view and comment on this little guy.

Hello Pat. That was quite a trip through my gallery, I’m quite flattered. Thank you. To answer your questions:
Unfortunately Grevillia’s have little if any perfume “Framed Grevillia” you can suck the nectar from them for a sweet treat, which is a fun activity to do with my nieces and nephews :-)
“Black Swan” These are native to Australia so they are more common here than the white one’s. They are less aggressive than the white one’s and make a curious whistling sound.
Thanks Pat for all your kind comments, I really appreciate it. Yes the YHVH Yireh is myself that I took on a self timer.. going to post another one of myself here in a few :)
Hey Pat! Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my gulf photos and the squirrel. I'm surprised to hear that the gulf isn't just as beautiful where you are. Looks like you've really been enjoying this site. But watch out, it's certainly addictive! Have a great day and I'll be coming back to see more of your photos. Alexis
hi there Pat, no need to send your arm but the photo was taken in a gray scale so I would have to start over and I spent about 5 hours on this one so you may have to hold on for a few weeks until I find the time, I wasnt sure about the gray scale hand but I went with. thanks for the comment!
Hi Pat...so nice to meet another Pat here at caedes and welcome...thank you so much for your compliments on A Picturesque Picnic Revised...I'm very glad you liked it and I really appreciate your saving it for tomorrow...have a great time here and I will check out your gallery soon.:Pat.
Pat, thank you for taking the time to comment on "Blue Wave" - it is much appreciated, especially since it is an older image. And I'm glad you liked it!
Hello Pat. Tahnk you for your wonderful comment on 'Wormhole'. The title is, because of its depth and the part in the middle. The part in the middle is the centre, it reminded me of what a wormhole might look like, surrounding gas and bizarre depths.
I'm uploading my photography on deviantart.com as well so you'll start seeing some of my same stuff on that site aswell. If I think people like it enough, i might buy a subscription and sell my artwork on it.
Thanks for stopping by my gallery and commenting on the butterflies. I have about 900 butterfly pictures in my photo collection so theirs a good chance you see more.
Hi Pat,
Thanks for the comments about "Grand Canyon Sunset." That shot is the result of the old "Right place at the right time" adage. The colors are just as nature provided them, and untouched by Photoshop or anything else.
Olie
hey Pat.. thanks for the wonderful comment on Fixation.. glad you liked it.. and i may have to see what i can do about reworking the central area to make a caedes spider..
HI Pat, thanks for your kind comments on Blea Tarn 1. Blea Tarn is in the Langdales in the lake district, it's the bit on the left just underneath Scotland:) Really glad you liked the photo.
Thank you Pat, for Lake Reflect' very kind of you to say those nice things..The little 'shrub' you mentioned. is actually one of dozens of long poles, placed in the ground and hanging out over the water, for the 'Kingfishers' to perch on, when they do their 'fishing'
regards.......Bob

The lightning part, I used a 'plug-in' called KPT, I cannot remember where or when I got it, but it is part of the corel group...ie: www.corel.com......the background image is my own that I took, played about with it in Hue&Satch, then added the lightning!....hope this helps....Bob

Thanks for the nice comments on my "up close & personal" deer shot! it was a rare opportunity indeed to get that close to a deer! Thanks again, Carol
Hi Pat,
Thanks for the comments and compliments on my "reflections on a winter day" sunset shot! I sure appreciate it. I didn't enhance this photo, except I did rotate a degree to level off the horizon a bit. It was such a pretty shot left as is, so that's the way I left it! Thanks again for looking, Carol
Evening Pat....8.30 pm here at the moment...kind thanks for Winter Colour.....I live on the outskirts of a small town, right next to the beginning of the most beautiful Countryside on God's earth.!
Hello Pat...thank you for your thank you...ha, and you asked if my icon is my dog...yes, it is...Her name is Roxy. She is a Jack Russell Terrier... Broken (inbetween smooth and wired haired) and she is a Shorty...We are together almost 24/7...a real sweetie-pie, however, she chases alot of my subjects away...but she is getting better at letting me snap a few photos w.o. dragging me after something. :-) Dianna
