Sorry for the quietness; have been busy with things! Christmas coming on and all...
I have a nice quiet 3D scene which I rendered just now in Bryce 6.1. Minor post-work done in Photoshop Elements 8 (I finally upgraded from version 2! I keep looking suspiciously for tools and options which might have been removed from the software, but so far haven't noticed anything).
Hope you enjoy -- any tips and suggestions welcome.
Hi Tottles, many thanks for joining in and following the discussion thread that Noah started. I am so far from being a pro at PhotoShop that I thought this might be an opportunity to learn a few things.
I think it is a fun idea and a fun exercise. Hopefully and collectively we will all learn some new things!!!

What really brings a member to view your work I say the naming of your image I know it does me, the name makes me want to see that image'
Lovely textures and colours, really grabbed my eye!
I have a PC like that; the hard drive failed and the fan was chugging but we got it going again with a new hard drive. It's barely clinging on, but it's been a few years since the crash and it's still going! Best regards to your own PC.
thank you for your comments we found out what took our pc out it was the apophysis software we downloaded so its off from now on, the software never ran right so we should have kown better huh

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Thanks for the comment on 'Star Flake', it's most appreciated. With regards to your screen size, I am happy to 're-do' the image in other sizes. My screens are both 1280 x 1024, my kids screen is 1024 x 768 and my wife's laptop is 1920 x 1200 and there are many other sizes, so it's tricky to know what size to post.

On a Night...Such as This...Take the pen tool, make a "puddle" of some solid bright (or dark) color, noodle with the gaussian or motion blur, lessen the opacity, then "stretch" the effect across the desired place...simple...Thanks for stopping by...
