I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.
hi there:
Thanks for dropping by and commenting upon Prometheus Unbound I understand what you mean about the background. I might try a version to subdue it a little bit.
Andy your work is spectacular! I can always tell when an image of yours pops up, but each one is still unique. Your use of color is the best! Keep it up, i would love to see more.
Thanks for commenting on "Skin" Andy. It's an image that's generated some really polarised views. Personally, I think some people just find it a bit repellant, like a scab or something. I'm glad I posted it though, makes a change from flowers :)
you can say that again Morat. Flowers are ok, as long as they accompany an artistic theme. In my own view, I think Art is whatever floats your boat. To some it might be repelent, but to others, it is whatever the imagination conjours up. I am glad you posted it too, as without it, as i said before, life would be very boring.
Hey, glad you liked When I grow up...
The chalk-like effect was simply done in PSP (you can do it in PS as well) with the Brush Strokes-effect. You just play around with all the parameters until you get something nice.
I then added a Picture frame (Image --> Add Picture Frame... --> Photo Edge) et voila. ;-)
LOL =) to be honest, I didn't like the effect on the picture like the kinda "drawing" effect you know, but I didn't want to say that so, I just commented on the narration :) Sorry if I offended you :)
If those "drawings" came from pictures they're awesome :)
Thanks for taking a stroll down the Path Of The Unknown and leaving such nice comments.
That path goes on for 6 to 8 miles, it runs down the shore line of the Green Bay which is located just north of Green Bay. Yes the bay is named after the City or is it the other way around...I dont remember....lol Anyway thank you for taking interest.
lol Your the 3rd person to ask me where does Rocky Path to Golden Pond brings ya. Its so cleverly hidden in the title where it brings you.....lol ;) Well thank you very much for stopping by and takin interest in my work. I really appreciate the nice comments.
Thanks so much Andy for your favorable feedback on Night Terrors...I am not sure if the painting combines well with the photos but thought I'd give it a try...at any rate, I really appreciate your kind review and good wishes...thanks again and I agree, the painting does remind of The Scream.:Pat.
Hi Andy!
Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Another Place and Time"! This spring and summer have been so chaotic, I've really missed working on images and stopping by to check out everybody elses new work as well! I keep thinking things will settle down one of these days!!! I really appreciate your feedback! Vicky
Daffodill Blues was a little flower pot on a table outside a shop next to the Whistle Stop Cafe featured in the movie Fried Green Tomatoes in Juliette, GA. Yes they are artificial flowers. Thanks Andy for taking the time to view and comment on this image.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Hi Andy, thanks for your comments on my swan - and I added a slight tint of blue to the photograph, hence the blue that you can see - it brightened up the whole photograph. I am glad you liked it. :) Patti
Hi Andy and thanks for staying on the porch with "Brown Lizzy". And for viewing "Blue Balloons". Your comments are most welcome. Have a great day. Anita
Morning Andy and thanks for stopping in to view "Bell Flower Top" and "Avila Bay at Daybreak". I'm so glad you enjoyed both of them. Have a great day and thanks for your kind words. Anita
Glad you enjoyed the Hollywood Bound Hounds Andy. They were magnificant dogs and my brother (who has passed away as well) really did train them so well. He loved his shelties and they did about anything for him as well. It was a fun shot. Thanks for the kind words. Anita
Thanks for coming by to see "Kauai Sunrise" and "Kona Waterfall" Andy. Your very kind words are appreciated. I was fortunate all my life to be able to travel quite a bit both business and personal. Nowadays it's a little less..I kind of stick to Sedona and Hawaii for my long travels. (At this age) it's not near the fun it used to be but I keep on trying to do it. Again, thanks for your very kind words. Anita
Hi Andy and thanks for peeking in to see the "View from Bell Rock" and "Painted Desert 2". I appreciate your kind words and so glad that you enjoyed the views. Thanks so much. Anita
Thanks for your comment Andy. And yeah, the sky is a little too over-powering. I'm new at this whole editing thing, so I'll work on it. But thanks for the feedback! :)
Thanks for stopping in to go round the "Roundabout" Andy. Yup, they take the place of your flowers etc. and are truly amazing. I am appreciative and thank you for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed. Anita
Hi Andy, I am playing 'catch up' with all my comments and responses to everyone, so here's just a quick but very much appreciated thank you for the nice comments on Gypsy...always good to hear your thoughts and suggestions.:Pat
Thanks for coming by "Angels Gather Here" Andy. Always welcome our friends. This is actually a plaque on my patio that serves to remind me that 'someone is always watching (over me I hope)'. Have a great day and thanks for your very kind words. Anita

Hi Andy, thank you so much for your lovely comments for Scottish Highland. I appreciate them very much. And must say I envy you living in such a beautiful country.
Hi thanks for the comment on "Whity spidy". In answer to your question, very very close i would say 1 to 2 cm...So it is a very little spider your wife wouldn't have to be scared....
Glad you liked High Tide. I used Apophysis for it, by the way, and the gradient was kind of too intense in the original render, so I fixed it in Photoshop Elements. Apophysis does some good stuff when you fiddle around with it! :)
So glad you strolled along the beach at "Galveston Daybreak" Andy. Hope you found lots of interesting things :) Thanks for your kind words and constant support. Anita
Hey Andy, thanks so much for your great comments on "Cumulus" and "First Tomatoes." I'm so glad you liked them both enough to leave such positive messages. :)
So glad you came by to see "Freedom Flight" Andy. It's actually on the railing of my favorite restaurant in Sedona...Shugru's at Hillside Shopping Center. Thanks for your kind words. Anita
Before I run to the airport Andy, I wanted to thank you for your kind words on "Sunny Faces". I appreciate your always leaving me such nice words and input and know I'll be in withdrawal until my return next week. Thanks again. Anita
I love this site and everyone I've met has stimulated my artistic side in some way or another. I am embarrassed to say this, but I guess I've missed this message portion of Caedes all this time, as I have just spent the last hour and a half reading over all the kind comments and thanks from ppl to whom I have left posts on their uploads. I usually drop a personal message when ppl comment on mine, but I suppose this is a better way to do it. So my apologies to all...I'll endeavor to do a better job in the future. Every time I turn around on here, there is yet something more to explore, so I want to thank each and every one of you for all your kind comments and the time you take to look at our posts and leave a line or two. I'm sure enjoying my photographic side much more now that I've found this site and all the wonderful ppl on it :)PJ
P.S. to you..thanks a bunch..the foregoing is a generic ty to all that have been so kind but I wanted to leave you a special thanks :) PJ
Hi Andy- So glad you stopped by to check out and comment on "Old Farmhouse". These type of houses are very typical where I live and usually down a dirt road. Alot of people buy them and renovate. So good to hear from you- Eileen
Thanks for your comments on Flower Power and her sister pic. I appreciate your point of view. I needed all the comments I could muster on that one ...lol... :)PJ
Thanks for commenting on Resevoir Reflections, but of course, YOU rule the world, and we won't have a chance now that you've got your secret weapon in your arsenal....You support is always appreciated. :)
I've been gone a long time and so happy to be back. Forgive me if I miss one or two and my sincere thanks to Anne for her warm dedication. I'm so appreciative.

Thanx for the kind words on Quantum spark Andy , in answer to your question , I used Bryce [ for the spheres] and Photoshop for the borders with KPT effects plugin for the lightning. Cheers.
Thanks for the commentso on Tenacious Tendril...I'm glad it's not my woodpile to take care of, but I'm glad someone else didn't get around to trying to get the darned thing off yet :)PJ
Wow Andy, You were most kind in your comments. I don't think we have met before so I am pleased to make your acquaintence. Glad you enjoyed "Chaos In The Canopy". I had a good time photographing that little woods. Hope I hear from you again.
Pat
You are very kind in your comments on Wren's Song. It's the first time I tried that particular treatment in Photoshop and I'm happy that it came out as well as it did. I love learning things and this is such a great place to get feedback.. thanks :)PJ
How wonderful to know you follow my insect series, I am excited you liked "common blue" and "smiling"dragonfly. Your great words of appraisal brought me so much pleasure and satisfaction. Tomorrow I am going to Pieniny mountains. I have just read there are 1600 different kinds of butterflies. So I would like to shoot some. Now I realise 9 days will be not enough!
Hi Andy...you are always so nice with your comments and I appreciate them. Glad you came by to see Wings and Embroidery Two. Have a great weekend. Anita
I love the blue on Glowing Glory and that inner glow too..It's funny how some flowers seem to pick up on that. I've seen the same thing on other people's work too....thanks for stopping by and commenting :)PJ
Thank you for giving my pic, "Country Evening" such a good review. As you can tell, I'm still working on my photo skills; my pics need lots of improvement.
Thanks for taking out the time and consideration to view "Rainy Day"( I couldn't think of a better name--sad). :( It looked a little clear to me and I simply love rain pics, so I took a chance to post it. Glad you liked it. Have a great day!
Hi :) I use, and only use for now...am struggling to learn others..Photoshop CS2. I was just messing around with a couple of the tools, since I didn't have anything decent to post of a serious nature. Thanks for your comments :)PJ
I would like to thank you Andy for your supportive words on “smiling” dragonfly and "speckled wood" flutterfly. I truly cherish your opinion. To make it even more convincing I would like to add a biiiig smile and a bear hug. By the way, have you seen my butterfly album? I can’t find it anywhere…
Reference: "Donner Pass". You may have solved a mystery for me. I have always wondered why that little pond of water was the color it was. It very well could be copper.
Thks for bringing that up. Oh, don't worry about my shotgun. It's two barrells: one for Dunstickin and the other for DigCamMan. Ha! Tks for commenting by the way.
Pat
hello Andy, thanks for your comment on the big one. unfortunately it is not my weekend residence... it is my regular residence;) but seriously, if i ever go there again, i'll tell them about the decorator you know. that place could do some refurbishment:)

You had me lost for words after your comments about "rafting" and "Dunajec river". I felt quite honoured and humbled to read your warm compliments. Thank you so much for your visit in Pieniny National Park. It is truly very picturesque place with the river flowing in a ravine among rocks. Many attractions, to mention hanging by your feet from a cliff to take some snapshots, he, he...Definitely a place you never forget.
Glad you enjoyed the Colorado series and that it was a nice tour for you Andy. You are way too kind with your words but I'll take all of them ;) Thanks for always saying such nice things. Have a great weekend. Anita
