Hi Alexis, thanks for the comment on MANHATTAN SKYLINE, I hope you've enjoyed viewing my pics of your magnificent country as much as I have taking them.
Hi there, many thanks for your interest and positive feedback on Wrought-Iron Shadows...it's not going to be a challenge entry...I just posted it to help call attention to the challenge...but glad you enjoyed it just the same.
Shadow is a colour as light is, but less brilliant; light and shadow are only the relation of two tones.

Hi Alexis thanks again for the comment on JURASSIC COAST 2, glad you like the filter colour, I wasn't sure about it at the time, but think it turned out ok.

Please forgive my commenting, it's often late and random, and thank you to all who view and comment on my pics.
Hi Alexis, thanks so much for your comment on 'Kimmeridge 01'. I had such a great time on the Dorset coast last week, you could spend a month there and still have lots left to photograph!

"Green Frog" - Thanks so much for taking the time to view and comment of this one. It is very much appreicated. I am always suprised by the C-index on here. Sometimes I think people vote down the better ones. LOL. Lyn.
Hi Alexis, glad you liked the Banff pic. I was completely stunned by the beauty of that place. It really made me stop and think about life. The mountains are so big and so much older than me. Hard to have pride in front of mountains like that. Take care, Quiet

Belated thanks for the comment you left me on 'Kimmeridge 02' Alexis. I have a guilty secret though - it was sunset rather than sunrise! Still I pretty much had the bay to myself as everyone had gone, and I was up for the dawn (at 3.30 am) a few times on that trip!

Thanks for your comment on 'lemur' Alexis. My only regret there is the size of the file, which is down to me getting the crop wrong. The original is much bigger. Still I was pretty happy when I saw I had that one - there are no cages or bars in the enclosure so the lemurs are literally at your feet or by your side, which makes it possible to get some great shots.

Hi Alexis, and thanks so much for your comment on "Through A Frosted Window".
LOL, your expression of your opinion didn't bother me, because it was well phrased and a genuine help. I didn't consider more color saturation, to tell the truth. But thank your for your ideas. I appreciate the time you spent and do value your opinion.

Thanks for finding the time to call round at Clifton tower, & leaving such a nice comment, it surprises me you don't have a widescreen monitor yet. Your be interested to know I sent a daylight shot of the same view to paul1972 for him to process, & upload.
Keep an eye on his gallery if things work out okay he may upload the processed version tonight, & I imagine it will be in 4 by 3 format ratio to suit your monitor. (o:

Okay. So you're in the Heart of a Storm. Everything is perfectly calm, right? But you know that at any minute that calm is going to go away, and everything is going to be in chaos, and the world around you will literally blow you away. I want to be there.
Thanks a lot Alexis for the nice comments on Ted & Dell. Dell is grown up and such a great dog. She is full of life. Ted has disappeared. Thought you might like to know.

Thanks for your comments to "The beautiful river named ILL".
Of course, I took pictures of the restaurant's side, but the building and the garden are hidden behind trees.
One day, I should break my piggy-bank and go in this restaurant, taking pictures from the inside and from the garden along the river.
Thanks for your support on Early Fall Reflections. Your views and comments on my photographs mean a lot to me. This one had been sitting on my hard drive for a long time (at least a week) before our Caedes get together in Bennington. It was a "OMG" moment for sure!
