G'day Richie.. thanks for your great comment on Dragons Tails i'm glad you like it. I think the low c-index was due to when the system changed over a few years ago.. it was one of the hardest fractals I have ever done it took a few days to get it like this..

Thanks Richie for viewing and commenting on my Majestic Waters 2 image. I was testing out a 30 day trial of the Topaz plug-ins from www.topazlabs.com. I liked some of the plugins but I'm not sure I need the whole bundle. I used Adjust, Clean and Detail the most.

Thanks for the generous comments on my "Colchester Town Hall" pics, Richie. Yeah, with all the threatened spending cuts, I can't see them building anything like that this year.

Hi Richie - I thought long and hard about whether to clone out that ice-cream sign. In the end I decided that, while I didn't much care for the sign, I did like its reflection. And one would have looked a little silly without the other!
Have a great day

Mandarin Duck...I can see how it and the Wood Duck could get confused. I'll have to concede to the Mandarin. It's even more gorgeous. With what camera did you take that picture of the mandarin Duck?

Q: Why did the blonde get so excited after she finished her jigsaw puzzle in only 6 months?
A: Because on the box it said From 2-4 years.
Q: How do you confuse a blonde?
A: Ask her to alphabetize a bag of M&Ms.
Q: Why are dumb blonde jokes so short?
A: So brunettes can remember them.
Richie, please know that I am feeling your pain, as I know you and my mother were very very close. If ever you need to talk, please feel free to call me. I will pm you my phone number, or you can call my mom's cell phone, as it is still currently active for the time being, and I have it. This is so tough, I am not totally sure if Im capable of handling it. Peace be with you tonight, Marcie.

Thanks for your comments on "Definitely not a Moth". Glad you enjoyed the view. The topside colouring was dull in comparison to the folded wing display. That's one of the reasons I went with this shot. Have a great day, ~Wendell

Thanks for viewing and commenting on the Mt. Bachelor photo. It actually is surrounded by other mountains- Broken Mountain, Three Sisters, and Mt. Jefferson. I will be posting pics of these mountains over the next couple of days. It was called Bachelor Butte until the mid-60s when they built the ski lift on it. It doesn't look like a Butte to me. It's plenty tall.
