wonderful pictures. where do you find the time to take them. I have had an almost obsession with the beauty around me and have longed for the time to capture it. If you dont mind me asking, is this one of you main occupations?
Most assuredly not... =) I am finishing my last year of high school, while juggling with two part time jobs and college preparation. I take most of them on my vacations when I actually have the time... =D But besides that whenever I go out I take the camera with me *just in case* ;-)
Well... I'm glad you like the pictures I'll try to get some more for you! =)
Hey Matthew i love your work Chicago appears to be a nice place to live lol. And i'm just looking for someone with talent like yourself lol that could look over my pieces for suggestions and comments. You're literally the only person that i can find that has more works than myself. Well seeya around.
I looked over your work and as far as I can tell our images are apples and oranges. =) A suggestion for your photos... (I'm not going to address your digital art works). I think a good practice would be to try taking interesting shots of everyday ordinary things and then judging whether or not they are pleasing to the eye in any way. Then just build on what works... =)
BTW... the quantity of images has nothing to do with quality...
hows this avatar? no, i only had saddam because it was the only pic on my computer that was small enough, i had used it for school or something, ill find something else, FOR YOU!
I enjoy how you have an eye for things that we might not otherwise notice. You have a gift for bringing out the beauty in them. pleasure looking at your work. quite nice.
Beowulf IS SUCH A GREAT POEM!!...epic really...my teacher siad it was boring....but i think it just intemidated her......anyway...thats just what i thought...
i have come to believe that the whole world is nothing but an enigma.a harmless enigma that is made terrible by are own mad attempt to find is underlieing truths.
Hey welcome to the site... thanks for the compliments, never hurts to hear a good thing about yourself once and awhile... ;-)
Re: the icons... all I did was I went to google.com did an advanced image search looking for size "small" or "icon-sized" pictures for "Beowulf" and found the one I have. So if you have something in mind just go there to see if there's one waiting to be used. =)
hey im new at the photoshop thing so do u guys know of any sites i could go to to learn more about it and understand the tools and the abilities better? It would help me out HUGE
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. <Robert Frost> "Nothing Gold Can Stay"
Fantastic work my friend!!!
You have a keen eye also as you rated my photo ;)
I will be browsing your photos further and will be sure to add most to my favourites.
Your work is an inspiration !
Hey, Beowulf- - I have some questions that have been driving me crazy cuz I'm pretty new at this:
is caedes one person or a bunch? why isn't the picture I uploaded on here yet, I uploaded it a couple of days ago? and what is the best program for making images?
thanx a bunch! I love your work- they are sooo pretty!
Thank you Matthew, for the great comment on "Skywalker". I got one more water strider shot that I'm working on. :) We'll see if that one turns out as well as this one...

thanks for commenting on "branches of hell"... i was sorta going for the depth look to it, but maybe next time i am at that tree i'll try to get a silhouette
Hi Matthew. Thanks for your comments about "Major Duomo". I really love the feel of these old buildings when you go through them - and the immense amount of detail on walls, ceilings, windows, etc. I'm glad that you liked the lighting in this picture. Regards. Miriam
Thanks Matthew for your comment on Wave. I agree that I haven't seen too many "vector" style images on the site other than myself and PhilcUK (I'm sure there are others though). Maybe it'll catch on... : )
I'm very glad you liked "Evil The Cat." He is a beautiful beast, isn't he? I have never seen such a ham of an animal. Once he saw the camera, he just couldn't get enough of rolling about and posing. Anyway, it's good to be recognized by those you respect, so thanks for doing so.
Hi Matthew. Josh did all the extra special cloning on the medal itself to make it look so realistic. I thank you for the extra comment in my profile as well as the wonderful comment on the image. It was a worthy and fun collaboration and Mimi's initial idea of wanting to give him something. ;) Thanks again.
Your comment on 'particle play' really means a lot, especially since I've saved half your shots. The "edit" took about three minutes, I just finally found a program I can understand. Thanks for visiting
Matthew, I appreciate that you left the first nice comment on "Finally". I had every color combo available in a slideshow on my desktop while trying to decide and yes, talk about moving! lol ;) Thanks again.
Tks Matthew for commenting on Let The Sun Shine Down On Me. I know the background is a blur, but the focal point is the flower. Do you really think it is that blurry, perhaps I should pull it and resubmit?

Hello Mathew: Thanks for your comments on "Top Heavy", Dedication? I suppose you could call it that all right. I had traveled 300 miles to shoot these tulips (there are miles of tulip fields) and I wasn't going to let a little rain stop me. Thanks again.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
