... of Manhattan. This was taken somewheres in Battery Park near the Financial District, Lower Manhattan ~ June 2008. I recall the bluish green trees caught my eye as well the tall grass in the foreground. One thing I love about NYC is that sometimes you feel you are in a city & sometimes not.
The original image was as colorful as this saturated HDR creation. I love it on the DT ... hope you do as well.
-:¦:-·*THANK YOU!*·-:¦:- for checking out Wild Turkeys...it is much appreciated:) I keep saying I won't leave home without the camera but I do sometimes. I did stop and get out but the turkeys bolted for the hills. There was something in the field they were feeding on but I don't know what it was.

Thanks Sherree for viewing and commenting on my Majestic Waters 2 image. I was testing out a 30 day trial of the Topaz plug-ins from www.topazlabs.com. I liked some of the plugins but I'm not sure I need the whole bundle. I used Adjust, Clean and Detail the most.

Hi Sherree - Many thanks for your generous comments on "From The East". Greatly appreciated. I did try to lighten the foreground as much as possible, but found, beyond a certain point, I was getting, what I believe are called, artefacts.
Hope you had a great Easter
