Hi Digby, thank you for your comment on my picture "Frankfurter Rundschau". I agree with you and the other members who commented the image, a blue sky and a few sunbeams would help this picture a lot. Thanks for watching and feel free to stop by from time to time and watch my gallery. Best wishes, Bernd.

Hi Digby. The koringkriek sure is ugly, but it is harmless. It is part of the locust family. Thanks for the comment!!!

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

Thanks for all your comments on koringkriek! He is about the size of your thumb (4cm - 5cm). They are harmless, but they are known to eat their own kind if there are not enough plants to eat. They are part of the grasshopper family and can be quite a pest as there can be millions of them at one time. The roads get full of them as they come and feast on the ones that got ran over. They can't fly either. No wings like the grasshopper.

Thank you for your kind comments of "Techicolor Dreams of you" It's funny but that picture spawned a debate between my Girlfriend and I over just what day/weekend she did say She loved me...I'm right, she's wrong but I let her win the battle anyway. Thanks again, Dave

Thanks for commenting on "Sunny, but Foggy Canyon." Personally I think there are better pictures in my gallery, but the only way to find out is to look!
