Thanks for the comment on "Death Valley: Racetrack" :) I'm not quite sure what you mean when you ask how that happened, but I'm guessing it's the movement of the rock in the foreground of the picture that you're referring to. They (scientist people) are not quite sure how those really heavy rocks move, no one's ever seen them do it. The theory, though, is that they slide when it rains and the wind blows really hard.
