This is actually on a little beach in the Dominican Republic. The guy looking back is looking at the water most likely, the water being what was behind him. It was a public enough beach to rent a type of lawn chairs (the basket-like things in the front) and to have stands designed to sell junk to tourists, but private enough to not have a whim towards clearing abandon cars and boats justa few steps away and also private enough for a certain native to feel confident without a top. Yeugh! Only one, thankfully..."

Hello Eileen! Thanks for the nice comments on my Heron image. The key to this image is go slow and wait for the right moment and take a series of images. Then choose the best one. The only drawback in these bird parks is that you become a bird pooh target.

Hi Eileen, Thanks a lot for your comment on my dog. She is very slim, the picture makes her look fat. She is 7 going on 8 in October. But the cool thing is my last dog was born on the same day as me, and she made it 14 years!

Thanks for adding something of mine to your favorites (kestrel) I like to get in close. I've noticed as I look at this one that I caught the people standing around in it's eyes. Sort of a shot of captivity too, but these were all injured rescued birds. Glad you stopped by for a visit.

This is a mountain lake in North Georgia that we came upon while looking for something else. This shoreline was near a National Forest Campground. At the end of the shoreline is a young lady enjoying the foggy sunrise.

Well thanks a lot fofoo and I would like it a lot if you could look at my other photos and give me your very honest opinion on them, you dont have to be kind on all of them.

I use Nikon...not too good, but I didnt plan on using it on anything more then just taking regular pictures of events/ friends and thats why i didnt care to get one better than that. But now i got addicted to this area of picture taking even though my pics arent 100% great. I am really glad you like the Rainbow though.
