Hi, and thanks for your comment on The Blue Heron Strikes. It was fun watching that guy feed...he had been there most of the afternoon according to someone I spoke to. Who knows, maybe he was too full of fish to fly away?
Thanks for replying. Believe it or not I just discovered this posting aspect of being a caedes member. I'll have to check back here more often.
I love this site - there's some great photos here!
Thank you for your wonderful words about my Old Mill image. When you find time please feel free to look at my other images. They can be found in "My Galleries"

Thanks for being interested enough to ask about the birds in “The Flying Lesson”. Actually they are Little Egrets (Ardea Garzetta). The Cattle Egret (Ardea Ibis) has a stumpy body and a very short neck. As far as I know the Snowy (Egretta thula) doesn’t live in Australia.
Hi gregwrld ! I´m glad to see you enjoyed one of my butterfly images, The Berrmuda Butterfly ! You are right, I am a patient person..hehe..and that´s a good thing when you´re shooting butterflies, not to talk about birds... Thanks for commenting.
me again...you chose one of my favourites in the orchid series (#6), the tiny red orchid against the greenhouse window. I´m pleased to see you liked that one - a composition I´m proud of..hehe. Thank you !
Hi...thanks a lot for stopping to comment on A Family Affair...very glad you liked it...and yes, you're right...animals usually take very good care of their young...sometimes better than we do...tks again.:Pat.
This was a fun set up. I sometimes feel that I get to formal with my still life's. This type of set-up helps me to have some fun. Nothing else to do because of the heavy snow falling. I am happy that you enjoyed my Carnation Ice Cream image. Thank you for your input.

Thank you for your compliments on "Flight of The Dragon." I sure appreciate you taking time to view my work. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a great day! :) Sarah
Hi Greg, I offer you a belated WELCOME to Caedes, and I hope you enjoy the wonderful people on this site as much as I have. Thank you for your comment on"He's Got and Issue"! Your right about the possiblity of being bitten, I was very careful, but I thought it was so funny, I just had to capture his mood, Ha! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you for your comments on "Water Lilly". You are correct about it taking a little effort. It took me almost 4 hrs to get set-up to have just the look you described.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

And a group "you're welcome!" to all of you. You're all giving me much enjoyment and it's encouraging to know there are so many creative people around...

thanks for the post on Sea Meets Sky - its a bit of a trek up the canyon but definitely worth it! I'll definitely head back to Kaua'i as soon as I can :-)
Thanks so much for the nice comment on Compass.... I had a lot of fun making it.. The fractal just needed to be completed with the directiion indicators..

Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
LOL... Hi Greg.. thanks for your comment on Hidden Away... im glad you like it.. and yes it was a great spot to contemplate things besided bellybutton lint..... very peaceful and quiet...

thx for your comment on PimpelMees As you can gues we in holland call this bird PimpelMees (Parus Caeruleus) in latin. sorry dont know the englisch name. Might be "Blue tit"
Thanks for stopping in at "baby moorhen". I caught this little fella on the outer edges of a bird sanctuary in Venice, FL, not too far from his parents and fellow chicklets.
Thanks for the comment you left on my image "so jah seh". Much appreciated. That is one of my favorite frax flames that I have done...just for the sense of motion that it has. The colors are nice I think - but, then who can resist a rainbow? I'm into it for the flow that it has, I think. So - I was glad that this is what you commented on. Thanks. : )
Hey gregwrld ! I´m very thankful for your kind words on the second Glass Art image. It didn´t get as much appreciation as the first one, but I think it has its own quality and should not be compared with the other one. Nice to see you like my framings and compositions ! Thanks !

Hello and thank you for your comments on "Picnic at 20 Below" I'm glad you like it.
You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat.
