Hi Kate and thanks for looking at my red barn (Safeguarded harvest) I guess youดre a fan of old buildings just as I am. I agree, the color is marvelous on this pic. One reason is the paint (Falu red paint). It creates a unique lustre and obvious visual changes in different light. You can see it everywhere in my country It is manufactured from rest minerals at Falu Koppargruva. (The copper mine in Falun) It has been used for hundreds of years, and itดs still wonderful to look at and work with. / Arne

Thanks for the comment on my "Petrifying Springs Park - River #3." It's actually a color photo, just desaturated a bit to bring out the contrast between the snow and the trees :)
