Gee Kate, I wish I could find this kind of color in my backyard. I have to travel at least 150 miles (I live in a desert region of Washington State) and thanks so much for your comments on "As the Seasons Change". I'm glad it reminded you of home.
Hi Kate and thanks for looking at my red barn (Safeguarded harvest) I guess youดre a fan of old buildings just as I am. I agree, the color is marvelous on this pic. One reason is the paint (Falu red paint). It creates a unique lustre and obvious visual changes in different light. You can see it everywhere in my country It is manufactured from rest minerals at Falu Koppargruva. (The copper mine in Falun) It has been used for hundreds of years, and itดs still wonderful to look at and work with. / Arne
Kate, many thanks for your comments On A Clear Day. The country north of the Grand Canyon is like no other I have seen...austere, but totally beautiful.
KATE.
I am really behind with my correspondence so I apologize for the delay about your input for my Red Mill image. Your comments mean a lot to me.Thank you for the input.

Kate;
Thank you for visiting my Line Shack and Aspens. This was just one of a series of Aspens that I posted. I agree with you, Aspens are beautiful trees. Not only when they are golden in the fall but also when they have just sprouted their new green leaves in the spring. Thank you so very much for your comments. Please find time to look at my other Aspens in this series.

Hi Kate and thank you for your comments on "All Backed Up". They are interesting to watch and enjoy.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Hi Kate ! Thank you so much for your kind comment on "Bridge Over Calm Water". It is a very peaceful place I often visit and I think this picture brings about the evening feel there very well. Iดm glad you also felt a bit of that. -- Arne --

Thanks for the comment on my "Petrifying Springs Park - River #3." It's actually a color photo, just desaturated a bit to bring out the contrast between the snow and the trees :)
