Heidi, many thanks for visiting my gallery and for leaving comments on Spirit of the Marsh, Beaver at Dawn and Sentinels. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed some of my photos! Comments such as yours make me want to keep on photographing even when the endless gray skies are frustrating and I'm not getting very good results.

Hey Heidi. Thanks for your comment on Perception of Colour. I was hoping for a good response on that one, so your comment is highly appreciated. Thanks again.
Hello Heidi; Thank you for your comments on "Home Sweet Home". Makes me wish I were back there right now. Let's just say I'm somewhere on the other-side of the Great Pond (the Atlantic Ocean) and wishing I were home. This is getting old. All these negotiations will be concluding shortly and hopefully I can make it home before spring is over.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

I'm just playing catch-up here so let me thank you for the honor of having "Life Spring Eternal" and Foggy Mt. Rainier Sunrise from Reflection Lake". In your favorites Gallery. I really appreciate it and your comments.
Hello Heidi, I think your lucky to live near scenery like “Ellenborough Falls” I only see this kind of country side when I’m on holidays. Thank you for your comments, they are truly appreciated.
Heidi,
Thank you so very much for visiting my White House Ruins, Canyon DeChelly (De Shay) Arizona. I agree with you. It is almost a Holy Place. You can feel the ancient ones watching you all the time that you are in the area. Did you visit Spider Rock while you were there?

Welcome to the world of fractals. They are very addictive. Very glad you enjoyed Orange Thingy. I am fairly new to this myself and still am totally fascinated by them. Every twist of the program is a new surprise. Then, once in a while something totally unexpected will happen. I just love making them..

Hi Heidi...thanks so much for your great comments and appreciation of What's Old Is New Again...I'm very glad you enjoyed it and I sure appreciate you stopping by to say so.:Pat.
Heidi, Good Morning
Thank you for your kind words about my Glenwood Canyon and the Colorado River. You are invited to set for awhile in one of my lawnchairs and stare out into the canyon and relax. The only thing that I could add to that would be to have a good fishing rod with no hook on the line. After all we came here to relax not to pull in fish. <smile>

Thank you for your compliments on "Pastel Perfection." I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Yeah, cats are great. I have 3. All rescues. How many do you have? Have a great day! Sarah :)
Heidi, Thank you for your comments on Miranda. She may be a Maine Coone. She appeared at our home just after we had moved in. We have since tamed her and what appears to be her Mom, a Snowshoe! They are very sweet tempered.
Heidi, thanks very much for your comment on Black head at Dawn. Would like to get some time in N. Cal in the next couple years...but for now we're going back to Maine in about 2 weeks.

You are very kind with your words about my, Thumb Butte, Monument Valley. I thank you very much for your visit. Please return and visit my other images when you find time

hello, thanks for your nice comment! no, i don't have paint shop pro or adobe, lol. i recently got a new computer so that's pretty much why. i do have a trial version of paint shop pro, but I'm not sure how long that's going to last. I definitely need to get one of those things. I'm interested in doing fractals too so I'd like to get a program that could do that. Anyway, thanks. =)

I was beginning to wonder if anyone would catch on to why I frame vertical images the way I do. You're right, I do it that way so people can use the negative space for their icons and not impede the image. Thanks very much Heidi for your comments on "Surf's Up".

Well you saw the result of our trip to Maine in Storm At Gull Rock! We had about a week of this weather and one nice day when we left! Thanks for your comments on this pic! Mike

Good morning Heidi, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my gallery. I am retired to, this is what i do to help pass the time. I find it a pleasure to post images that people might want to download to their desktop. I try to match a quote to the image, to add some feeling. Well thanks again, and have a wonderful day. Dwight.

Thank you Heidi for your encouraging comments on "Moonset – Sunrise". I'm really pleased that my image pleases you so much

Hello Heidi, hope you will forgive me, but this message will be pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my image “This Heart's For You2". I’m stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate each comment, it’s just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.

Hi Heidi, many thanks for liking "At Twilight"! You know, you are so right about what that beautiful late evening sun can accomplish for us! It changes are entire concept of how we view an image, doesn't it? Thank you so much and please stop by for another visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Heidi. I´m glad you stopped by on Cascade In Yellow, the daisy trio I found near a very old water-mill in the south of Sweden. They really begged to be photographed...Thanks for your kind comment. -- Arne --
Heidi, I really want to thank you for your comments and show of support for “Together We Stand”. I live, basically, surrounded by farmland. To the East and South it is mostly dry land farming, with wheat the main commodity. To the West and North it’s mostly fruit and other crops dependent on irrigation. I have spent numerous hours and or days photographing the “Green Crops” and very little time in the dry land areas. I started to turn more attention to that area when I saw another image here on Caedes that was some form of grain. This is one of the photographs that resulted because of that image. I wish I could remember who did it; I would like to thank them personally.

Hello Heidi! My Dandelion Sunset photo was an unplanned event. I went to photograph the sunset and decided to see what I'd get with a low telephoto macro shot. I'm glad that you like the results and I appreciate your support.

Thanks Heidi for viewing and commenting on my Amicalola Creek 3 image. God created this scene and painted it with light. All I did was capture that moment in time as a digital image. I'm glad that you like it.
