Thanks for the prop regarding Haceta Head at Dusk. I did tweak the saturation levels a little but I did not alter the Hues. The camera's white balance may have altered the water color slightly but the trees caught a series dose of the setting sun's rays leaving them a brownish color. When I took the shot I remember thinking the trees looked very brown. The fact that we've had a long winter here in Oregon also added to the neutral hues.

Hey again Pathe,

Thanks for the comments on 'Mt.Rainier from Paradise' much appreciated. On my way to the mountain it was as clear as could be...I was so happy...then two jetliners flew over and just all but ruined it. I got some fairly clear shots later but I was not a happy camper. It's not often that it is completely clear...then the planes have to fly over to see it.

Hello there, a big thank you goes out to you for the nice comment on "Santorini Cliffs" I appreciate it a lot! Santorini is my favorite of the islands, the view is just amazing. The story is that it used to be perfectly round until a volcano exploded thousands of years ago and half of the island shunk in the sea creating those cliffs you see in my picture. So glad you liked it, have a nice day

HI Pathe, thanks for the comments on The Shambles photographs. The beer is very good I believe. :) and the roof slopes back slightly but it is difficult to see from the front of the building. Patti

Pathe,
Thanks for the kind words regarding My Beach..., they're much appreciated. It was a blustery day and I liked what the wind and tides were doing to the sands. Glad you liked it. -Gregory

Hi Pathe, thanks for the comments on St John the Baptist. I took these photos two weeks ago when I was in Chester which is a roman town in Cheshire, which still has a wall around the perimeter of the town - and I took these photos with my little Nikon, so they are not brilliant, but they do give you an idea of the age of the ruins of this part of the church - feels quite eerie standing there among the ruins imagining about the past and the hundreds and thousands of people who have passed through there, especially with a coffin stuck right there in the wall! lol Patti

Hi Pathe, so pleased you like my two flower photos I posted yesterday. I have only just mastered using the macro setting on my camera, so taking lots of pics. In fact, I only discovered I had that setting two weeks ago! lol! how funny is that. :) Patti
