Hello there Phil, long time time since I heard from you!...Kindest thanks for those little bits of information, I still have those four shots, and will give 'it a go'...this was the first time i tried this, and was'nt sure how it would turn out....
Thanks for the support..................Bob
Hello phil, you commented on my " one man and his barge" thank you very kind of you to respond and offer good advice, but I wasn't trying to make the image look an old one just more interesting than before, but Iwill take on board what you remarked on thanks very much.
Phil,
Thanks for replying to my question on the discussion board. I think I have found a tutorial and hopefully will have the image up in a few days :D
Thanks again,
Ieuan
After receiving your favorable comments about "Katarina", I peeked into your gallery and I knew immediately who you are. Prior to becoming an active member of caedes and prior to acquiring my Canon A700 several months ago, I had already downloaded many, many of your splendid images (I almost felt guilty about taking the NASA photos). When I got to the Cayman GT,I realized I had seen the exact photo in one of the car mags I subscribe to. Your gallery is magnificient, and receiving a compliment from you is very much appreciated. Neil
Hello Phil. I appreciate the comment on "Trails In The Sand". Whoever drew this has some artistic ability. It could have been a child playing in the sand and I probably think it was since most grownups are too busy.
Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
Hello Phil. Thanks for the comment about my latest post, 'Saint'. I battled over wether to change the photo to B&W and couldn't decide one way or the other in the end. So I was interested to read your view on it. I'll consider the monochrome look again and maybe resubmit later. Thanks again. Iain.

Hey there Phil, about missed ya was looking through some older posts an there you were.lol Just wanted to say thanks for "Galactic Fireworks" yeah I try and make my flames big and colorful sometimes and I'm glad you liked it bud. You take care.
Tomorrow I will put the Lancaster on Caedes. So people can see these marvelous airplanes, is why I am putting airplane photos on the site instead of flowers for a week or so. Ted
Thanks Phil for the great comment you made about my recent post. Naturally, they were warmly and gratefully received. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Best wishes Iain.

Hi Phil Thanks for your lovely comments for Great Orm Llandudno - Wales they are very much appreciated. Glad to bring some nice memories back for you :)
Hi Phil, thanks for checking out 'a piece of our world' i like the mono idea... perhaps somewhere down the road i'll give it a spin. as for this piece, in part it's sort of a 'back to the drawing board' effort, since my older post "our world" wasn't quite as good as i'd hoped it would be...
Rob
lately, i've fallen horribly behind in my thanks and comments. I'll catch up, but until I do, please know all your kind words are greatly appreciated.
Uhm ... you don't know what it means to me to have had you comment on a piece of mine and comment as you did.
I hesitated putting my particular 'placeholder' up, as there are still some rough spots. But, rather than go completely blind ... I took a break and a leap of fatih and did.
Thanks Phil ... I really appreciate it. :o)

Phil, thanks for stopping my Macabre. I appreciate your kind words seeing as you know so much about what you are describing. Just out of curiosity, though, was there anything I could have done better?
Everyone is kneaded out of the same dough, but they are not all baked in the same oven.
thanks for the comment on Romans 7:18. The cluttered text in the background was mostly intentional, so that the viewer wouldn't focus too much on it, but rather take it in as a whole, and focus on the words "In my" and "sinful nature". I appreciate the words of advice though, they're always welcome.

Dear Phil. My heartful appreciation goes for your comment and points regarding Goldy Jlo. This was my fist photo chop attempt so I believe there is a lot for me to learn.Thank you very much for taking time to review and give me some very valueble hints to improve. Now I can work on another image.
Thanks for the comments on 'A Summer Evening' much appreciated. There were two other predominate factors that played into this. There was some intense sunlight and smoke from two major forest fires. I almost didn't take the shot at all. I was coming home from a totally failed photoshoot and this turned out to be the shot of the day.As for the sharpening thing I'm on another site and got a good tip for sharpening and now seem to have that under control.

HI Phil and thanks for your advice as to why "MIllie I" might have been deleted. You are correct that this is an older photo of her, but I decided not to upload it until 11/27. I recently resubmitted the image and she is doing better than I had expected. Again thank you for you help.....................Neil
Thanks for you nice comments on "Desert Osprey." Don't worry about them not finding fish. There is a nice big lake on the other side of the canyon. Haha.
Hey Phil, Thanks for the comments on Deadly Display, I really appreciate what you said about nature being cruel and harsh, we think we have it bad but imagine being breakfast to a bunch of carnivores and the suffer pickings from vultures. Thanks!
Thanks for the comments on 'Five Miles Out (HDR)' very much appreciated. I knew the lower left may be a problem to some and it is natural light. The only peek of sun in the whole area. I did a layer over it to dull it but then decided to leave it in because it was highlighting that lone tree and the new ones. I just let nature do it's thing...kinda like telling a story. I do appreciate the critiques as it helps for future work.

Hi Phil, thanks for your input on my All Too Familiar shot.
I don't have a lot of experiance with night shots but next time I will try a longer exposure, the lighing you see is pretty much the way it looked but I see what you mean about the colour noise. Thanks for your helpful hints , Don
Good job on the Hottrockin' ride Phil, you're the master buddy.

thanks a lot for the advice on "father and son" i would have never noticed the pixel distortion had you not pointed it out but now that you did i see the difference. thanks for the constructive critisism.it's truly appreciated
Thanks for your comments on Canyon colors. I had run the shot through the auto adjust twice to get it as clean as I did. As for a polarized lens for next time, I'll have to come up with a better camera first. lol My little olympus doesn't have the capability for other lenses. When I am finally able to afford a Cannon rebel, I'll be in a better position for these types of shots.

Hey Phil, thanks for looking at my picture of 'Tate Modern'. I did struggle with the exposure on this one, there was so much contrast! Appreciate the comment very much.

Hope your day is kind to you Phil. Have a good good one. :o)

Hey Phil, Thanks so much for the Photoshop advice on my Vermilion Lakes! Also thanks for the encouragement on the photo. I appreciate your help and comments!
Phil,
Purmusic made me aware of this tutorial. Somehow, I missed seeing it. Thanks so much for posting it. I have not tried it yet but rest assured, I will.

Hope you had good good day, Phil. You deserve it and many others. Thank you for your gifts of time and those, from the heart.
:o)
Note: Each of the letters of 'Happy Birthday' ... are a link to the various tutorials that Phil has created for us. I encourage all of you to take some time and give them some consideration. You will be, most assuredly ... glad that you did. I was ... and am. :o)

Thanks Phil..All my images are throwaway,That is to say,Anyone can download,Alter,Use in anyway they want wether commercial or private..I just take them and forget about them a lot of my images are widescreen,In the case of flight risk.I had to do a quite severe crop and to be honest was not expecting to get an image anywhere near that quality..Cheers..R.

Hi Phil
Thanks for your advice on Pinenuts and Chicken Rice. I am just learning this stuff and everbit helps. I have sent you a message with a few more questions, hope you do not mind.
Thanks for your vigilance and desire to post NASA's historic and best images. It never fails at work when I use a Phil (NASA) image that I don't get a positive comment.
Hi Phil
Thanks for the comment on Okra Beans and Lamb. It is good needed feedback, I have shot this one so many times and have not got it right. I will have to cook another batch as I have run out LOL, wonder where it all went.. Food photography, this is a difficult dish as there is not a lot of colour in it. Thanks for the feedback.
