I actually made a (lucky) mistake. I have a brand new digital camera (my first) and was trying to shoot with auto bracketing; what I got instead was an open apurture for six or seven seconds. So I shot the stream like that (on purpose this time) Then I put the shot in PhotoShop to render the buffed amber effect (again, by hit-or-miss).
Hey, why don't you call up a print-shop to see the price of calanders, and figure out how much it would cost to have them made by a local print-shop, and make at least 3 calanders out of your awesome work? I bet you it would sell! Stores like K-Mart, Hall-mark, Walden-books, they would do well to be sold in stores like that. Your work is pretty good!

I love the idea of the parabolic cruve, but I just don't like the look the texture gives it...kinda blurry...the colors are cool too...it's just the whole fuzzieness about it.
You better pray to God there's some Thorzine in that bag.

Thank-you so much reddawg for taking the time to comment on my work (go with the flow..), I really appreciate the feedback, so after staring at the scene for an hour rearranging - adding - moving -lighting I've almost finished a 2nd version > Still going with the flow < hope you like it!! :o)
thank you for the insightful comment on warped love, i agree with all that you said. but concerning the colors, the wern't designed to blend well, they we're designed to represent the apsects of love (pink = bliss, blue = sadness/depravity) after the contest, i may re-release the image with modified coloring and lighting, but thatnk you very much anyways, because most comments i get are like "wow, very nice" or "wow, i like it a lot" it is rare that i get a comment like this one where someone really shows interest in a picture by offering suggestions
Thank-you for your kind words on Still going with the flow. I enjoyed the fact that people gave their opinion on my original piece, as this means they felt it worth the trouble, I'm glad they did and that I listened! It turned out well. I'd just like to say that looking over you gallery again - you have a great eye for design and composition, keep up the good work!!

I Agreee (Vortex) . A couple of the images where not at high enough clarity for absaluts. The image of the girl on the beach through the vortex was from an old art photo I did 21 years ago on and the negative had fadded some. So you deal with what you've got + I guess I will have to go pic up the new high current monitor for it res. But on the up side; I've just resently started educating myself on image generators. But I do look forward to any imput good or bad.
Thanks for commenting on Sedona Gold, Bob, I appreciate it. Sorry about the pixelation, I am too near blind to see it. Guess it mightt have happened when I was tweaking the contrast in PS, because it certainly finished rendering. Hope it won't happen again, but all things considered it probably will. Sigh... :)
I have a new piece in here. I would appreciate your input.

Thanks for the comment on Stupid Humans. And yes it is an Anole I agree with you about the contrast if the background was darker. I think i am goin to try some editing on it and maybe even doing the lizard in color and the rest B&W. If you have any ideas let me know. thanks again
Thanks for the comment on Ahoy Vanna. Just did it per a request but knew it would not be as clear as I would like it since it had already been rendered too much.
i just want to thank you , for your kind remarks on my lovely rose photo.i am glad you enjoyed it. i appreciate your point of view, thanks for the tip ( on the higher resolution ).
thanks
Hey Bob, glad you managed to see the spider in (More Than Meets the Eye). They can definitely be frustrating for many people :). I agree that the software is awesome, I was so blown away when I discovered I could make one of these using any image I want with that free software. Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks for the feedback on "Caedes Fighter". I know it needs more detail but I sort of ran out of ideas. Also it gets difficult when you have so many other shapes in the way (the spider consists of 8 seperate discs). I will probably do more work on it when I have time though.
Thanks for the comments on Caedes says go. The interesting thing is on my monitor the caedes symbol is Solid Black and makes it look like it is apart of the image. But as you have commented and as i noticed as i viewed the image on a friends monitor the spider was grey. Maybe I can fix that somehow. thanks for the comment though.
Thanks for your comment on Caedes Bronze. Very much appreciated. As for the background design, I just start start with a simple design (circles, lines, angles, etc.) and fill it in with semi-random shapes that I draw with the pencil tool. Duely noted on the color. I may upload a revised version with different color and more contrast.
Thanks for commenting on "Roots of the Spider." I see what you mean about the border is a bit distracting. Maybe just the planet and spider on a black background with stars would have been better. Thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks so much for your kind comments on "Annabel Lee...", Bob! I'm glad you noticed the off color "black and white" :) and I'm so glad you liked it! :)

Hi Bob! Thanks for your comments on "Nothing Gold Can Stay". I know what you mean about the quality of the background image. I actually had a completely different image there to begin with, and then after I completed the piece I discovered that it was not a stock image and was in fact ripped from someone and passed off as stock. I was so upset! So I had to quickly find something else to submit before the contest was up! Luckily I had the piece still saved as a Photoshop file! lol

Thank you Bob for defending my directions on Photoshop. I hate to get into an arguement over a subject that will never have any winners. I really get tired of sarcastic remarkes by a few when someone aks a question. As it turned out the person who asked for help was only 15 year sold. He is eager to learn so I am happy that I answewd his question.

Why thank you Bob for your gracious comments on "Paco". I really have to give the credit to him for the way it turned out. He's such a good boy . My mom will be glad to hear that you like it so much. She got jealous because I had first posted my sisters cat on this site and everyone loved it. "laid back cat" if you want to take a peek at it. Thanks again :)
Hi Bob ! Me again ! Thanks bunches for taking the time to stop & comment on my image, Lady Sings The Blues. That image remains one of my favorites, I must admit, & it's so nice when someone takes a look at it !

Thank you for your comment. Was a difficult shot, as the "fruit" is situated in the middle of the plant and my mom had to pull the leaves open for me to get a shot. And to add, it's standing amongst other plants and next to a wall and we had to lean over the wall to get to it. I will though, try again, using your suggestion as guide. Thank you very much.
Many wonderful pic's, and not enough time to comment on them, I find much of your abstract works inspirational, and I hope to see more on my desktop. Two thumbs way way up
Thanks so much for commenting on my UPLOAD. You must have had to dig deep to find it. Strangely enough, I just used this image to complete a project I was working on.
At any rate, I had to thank you for your input. I'm a person who appreciates the unexpected. They do tend to add up and collectively create a wonderful glow!
