Thank you for your comment on 'the dat the cellar flooded' , much appreciated. No photoshop or anything else, just the rain on the windows gave these beautiful distortions of my city-view.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Thanks for your comment and suggestion on "sunset 2". It is very much appreciated. The reason it was so dark was because it was late in the day and there was a storm coming. :)
Thanks for your compliments on "A Mystery Waits. . ."
There are actually several hidden things in the picture if you look at it and zoom in at several spots. For instance, zoom in on the table just to the left beneath the candle. There should be a set of scratch marks. I was going to put it in the Halloween section, but I forgot.
I used to mess around with elaborate pictures on Paint, using the little dots to make fire by doing gradients and stuff, but I just got out of the habit. This is something I did for the fun of it recently.

Rules are for those who always follow the rules; there are no rules in photography because this isn't a game but an art! :P -Me-
Great minds think alike I guess! The difference is your Reflections of Autumn is a true nature scene...my Reflections are off the the swimming pool in my back yard! ;-)

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork.
*****Wow, looks like a long way down. Thanks for posting this. Really gives us a different perspective on these shots and shows us how much work really goes into getting the great shots you get. Awesome. *****
Thank you so much for that reply.
Indeed, it is easaly forgotten how much effort and swet, like hikes with 35 C heat and full camera gear, goes into these postings, let alone the money it costs to visit these places, since they are certanly not "around the corner"
But now it sounds as if i am complaining.. wich i am not :-)
Just a humble thanks for recognizing the efforts..
Hans.

Hey man..thanks, as always for commenting on my recent shots...on "Hornbeck's Creek 8", it was a little bit later in the day, maybe 4pm...so the sun was below the trees. It did give some great lighting.

The Petrified Forest arid badlands are only 50 miles from the Mogollon Rim, it's hard to believe they are in same state let alone next to each other...talk about extremes! Thanks for dropping in Ryan and glad you know the area
