Hi Shawdi. I'm glad you liked "After the Rose". Thanks for your comments.
Are the boarders around the edges distracting? I don't know if it works or not. As I shoot 35mm if you crop and resize the image, it loses some of its impact, so I decided to stick to the original with boarders and black backgrounds. Also with the boarders and black backgrounds on a vertical image, it gives you the room to put your program icons into the black and have no impact on the image itself. I was using just black but the image ended to abruptly. So I decided to add a border. Gray was dull so I decided to use a color from the image itself and, to me, that works better. The image ends gradually.
Hello Shawdi. I'm sorry for not responding to your comments sooner. I've been very busy traveling and working for the last three weeks. I have been to Poland, France, Germany, Belgium, Japan and Taiwan. My days haven't had much spare time in them. Thanks for the lovely comments on "Sprouting Onions".

Hey, thank you for your comment on (Dockside). Here is a copy of my response in deepGX's user information about the location where the photo was taken:
The picture was taken from the dock behind my grandparents' house in Lantana, Florida. It is looking out across the intracoastal waterway, which runs north and south just inland of Florida's Atlantic coast. If you're interested, some of my other pictures were taken from the same property. Those that are still in my gallery today include:

Hi Shawdi...thanks for commenting on April Showers...glad you liked it...yes, perhaps a tad blurry...difficult to get this type of thing right, at least for me.:Pat.
Thank you for the kind words on Forest Blossoms.. I am so glad you liked it.. I plan on following the progress of that tree.. I really want to know what it is, and what the fruit is like..
I really enjoyed reading the comments on Shawdi's page, especially the variety of feedback on their artwork. Speaking of things that help you keep track, have you tried any free period tracking apps? They can be super helpful for staying organized. It's cool to see such a supportive community around art though!
I saw shawdir's "New York City" and it reminded me of a recent trip. Thinking about art and cities always makes me want to plan something special, maybe some date dinner ideas? It's cool to see how art inspires different things! Thanks for sharing!
I was just browsing through Shawdir's gallery, especially enjoying 'New York City,' and it reminded me of a recent issue I had with image formats. I had a bunch of HEIC files from my iPhone that I needed to convert. Luckily, I found a great online tool that lets you heic file to pdf easily. Might be helpful for others dealing with similar files!
