All I can say is thanks for the *seven* comments! Truly a surprise to log in and see seven of 'em after not being very active on the site for a while (my camera's giving me trouble sadly...)
So, I guess all I have to say is thanks! And I love your 'sunset in denver' photo -- great lens flare perfectly mirrored on the cloud line.
Thanks Travis for viewing and commenting on my Spook Night photo. This was taken during the day and under exposed to darken the image. The forground was placed over my star background and added a diffused glow. The ghost was another tomb stone that I cut out and added a glow and made transparent. The color was removed to give it a night effect. It's all smoke and mirrors from photoshop.

Thank you Travis on "Sunset", the sun was actually going down behind me and I wanted to catch the blues in the sky, I think if I caught the sunset I would have missed out what I actually photograghed for. Glad you enjoyed this.
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Regarding your comment on "Onward Into Forver" of: "I just don't get the use of dark colors in so many abstracts. Has our generation (X and Y) gotten to the point where we feel we are in a dark age? Hmm..."
The answer from my point of view is as follows: I take into consideration when making my fractals that these are for desktop backgrounds, not an art gallery. I find pastels (dark colors / earth tones) to be much easier on the eye. And if I'm going to be staring at something for 2 hours a day. I would much rather have something that won't assault my eyes and give me a stigmatism. But that is just my point of view, and it is clear that many others do not share this opinion, which is fine and understandable.
Hey Travis .. thanks for taking the time to tour through my gallery. I quite appreciate that you were able to identify the mountains in my 4UU-x series. My total time in Banff was measured in minutes and had way too little time to spend on that day. It was late in the afternoon and the sun quickly abating. Thanks for filling some of the gaps for me!
I would quite like seeing some shots of the Bow Falls. I have a few (I only posted 2) but it was mostly ice-covered. It would be great to see it in its full glory. I'll watch for your posts.
HI Travis! Thanks for your comments on What do you mean I don't fit?! She actually stayed there for the better part of the day and then went back there the next day for some time! With 5 cats and 4 kids, there are always photo op's going on! Thanks again for stopping by!
Thanks for the comments on Blue-Green Spiral. As I said in the description, though, it lost most of its impact in the upload. It was brighter, clearer, had more detail and was simply a better image before it got here. Oh well...
Appreciation for your comments on foggy moon, Travis.....thank you...
tell me....your user name 'tadurham'!...I live in a place named County Durham!!!
co-incidence!.....................Bob
Also, Many thanks for 'Ice-Flow' I can only put the lack of sharpness, down to my hands 'Shaking & trembling' with the cold...Thanks for viewing.......Bob
Hi Travis, Many thanks for your kind comments on 'Fish 5'. I really appreciate it and am very glad you like it. There are still a few more to come.
Ian :o)
Hey man, thanks for the welcome. I had al look at all your shots and realised I have already downloaded most of them and have been using them for wallpapers! Those mountain shots are absolutely stunning!
thank you very much for your favourable comment on snowy January. It is much appreciated. It was snowing and the well-known place turned out to be some magical one. Thank you for your warm comment.
Thanks for you comment on "The Berz - Comfort." I very much appreciate it...
...and on "Carolina Pirate." Someone said it would make a good hockey logo.
You wrote, regarding my image Waiting 6 : "I like this better than your rework..." It's interesting, I liked this image better too. However, if the C-index is a guide the off-centre presentation of the rework is scoring better. Such are how the votes go sometimes.
