thank you for the comments on Chalula III. I am a bit of a non-conformist when it comes to photography. I like things off-balance, out of focus and at times grainy. I look at these things as tools to get across my views and to perhaps make people think of an image as something more than a document.
I know crazy. I have a Canon 40D so image quality is no issue most of the time. However, I will try the neat image and see what it can do (probably ways not intended LOL).

I saw the picture of the solitary mimosa bloom when I logged in and just had to take a look through the rest of your gallery. It is a truly beautiful gallery at that. Everything has strong lines and color. I will be back often; I think I have a thing or two I could learn from your images.

Hi Teeee vveee :) thanks for your comments ...and it was not hard to get the bird to pose - I just shouted - watch the birdie! lol! actually there were many birds (storks) perched all along the walls so I had plenty to photograph. I think that one was sat there for quite a long time - claiming the highest perch. It was probably his territory! :)

RMNP was awesome. I agree with the Big Thompson....now it runs right behind a Starbucks complete with chairs, table and umbrellas...I could have stayed there forever!
We followed the Big Thompson out the canyon road on our way to Wyoming. It was gorgeous!
Pictures don't begin to do it justice!
The Moose was so neat...there is even a trout fisherman by the Moose...the fisherman was not going to leave, I was losing light, so it was shoot or lose the reflections completely.....:o)

Hey again Dave thanks for the comments on "Still Sulking" very much appreciated. I used the Canon 7D and the kit Canon 28/135mm on this. Not a bad lens for a kit lens and it is image stabilzed.
