Hi Els - Many thanks for the visit and encouraging comments on "Upon Reflection". I have to agree that leaving that flag in was a mistake.
Have a great day

So many times I have been looking forward to seeing the sunset, only to find that is has been "cancelled" due to weather...This is a beautiful clear water shot...
Tallulah Gorge was much more impressive then I had expected. The river is really a pretty shade of green and the steep cliffs on both sides of the river are very rugged. Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the view Els!

Hello Els....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (SCOTTISH MOUNTAIN LIGHT 2)and for your comments,they are as you know very much appreciated....I am going on holiday to Scotland in August and I can't wait to go walking in the beautiful countryside....Thankyou again....All the very best to you Els..............................................Mick.
Waterfall in the Springtime was taken from an overlook at the top of the gorge, glad they had a wood fence since you stood right at the edge of a cliff. I try to act like the steep drop doesn't bother me but it does a little. I got about 20 more of these. The waterfall does have a name I just have to look it up.
Enjoy the cool breeze Els...just don't get too near the edge please!
Diane
Thankyou for your kind words on "Inch Falls"

I've taken a look through your gallery - Great pictures there, and I love the sunset of "Heavenly". Absolutely gorgeous.

Okay. So you're in the Heartof a Storm. Everything is perfectly calm, right? But you know that at any minute that calm is going to go away, and everything is going to be in chaos, and the world around you will literally blow you away. I want to be there.
Thank you so much for your comments on "Early Crocus." Sometimes when you take a photo, you don't even notice some of the most obvious components of it. I was so busy focusing on the crocus, that I hadn't realized just how bare the rest of the photo was. Simplicity can work, though! Thanks for making me think about that :)
Thanks for the comment on "Happy Gorilla". I totally agree with you; he does look like he's flirting! Have a good day!

Titus 3:5-7, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again.
If you ANY questions please pm me.
Hey, John what a muddy shot..lol...of what island is the skyline that we see in the distance or were you on one of those islands and is it Groningen what we see? just curious me...))

What happened with my photo "The Thinker" was an accident between my eyes and the computer lol The colors configuration of my computer or lightning, i do not know, is one or two tones darker and then when I improve a photo working on dark areas, to me appears as perfect, but who has a different computer configuration as I, can see what is not to be seen, Bruce ( Papa-bear) called my attention about this before... but then it was to late to change :-((, in the future I intend to repost it, he is puting my photo in the right balance again... Have a super sunday!

Midnight Rendezvous
Save that from yonder ivy-mantled tower
The moping owl does to the moon complain
Of such as, wandering near her secret bower,
Molest her ancient solitary reign.
Beneath those rugged elms, that yew-tree's shade,
Where heaves the turf in many a mouldering heap,
Each in his narrow cell for ever laid,
The rude Forefathers of the hamlet sleep....

Thanks Els for your comments on "Old New Townhall". Glad you enjoyed the scene, much appreciated. Personally I never want to see the clone tool again, I think I wore it out using it on this photo. Have a great day, ~Wendell

Hi Els. Thanks for your comment on "Park and Eats." It would be a very romantic place for a picnic. Unfortuately for me, my travel companions are normally Nike and Cannon! lol. ~~ John
Hi Els, you commented on one my shots recently and suggested a wider version of the scene might be more to your taste, so HERE IT IS. I had a similar thought, in the field, to you, so I figured I'd post the result here for you to see. :)
