Thank you for the comment on Pratapgad 2 (fort) verena. It is indeed a very difficult place to reach surrounded by steep hills with a lot of "folds" (hiding places). Glad you liked it!

The rice is hidden behind the meat and potatos, I will try a better angle next time. Noodle rice is rice cooked with egg noodles. Thanks for the encouraging comments, I have been shooting so much and cooking, it gets exhausting, and sometimes you loose concentration and focus and miss the obvious. I will post some more soon. GIMP is a great way to get started with retouching and photo manipulations, i started out with that program, if you get it, make sure you keep in touch and let me see some of the stuff you do! i'd like to see what you come up with, plus if you have questions, youtube.com has some nice tutorials that will show you how to do things! ;) THank you again for the wonderful comment!

Thanks for your comments on "...umbrella". They do make quite a racket en mass, but it is quite thrilling to see. They usually only take flight when an eagle approaches. Squaw Creek NRW for a time in the early winter has the largest population of eagles in the lower 48 as they follow the easy pickings of the migrating millions.
Thanks for your lovely comments. It is delicious fried a bit like patato. The sauce is a chili sauce using, Habeneros, Tomato, Onion, salt and viniger.

Thank you for your kind comments on the fence and Multnomah Falls. We were out there June 19th through the 25th for a family reunion at Wallowa Lake in North Eastern Oregon. The light was a bit harsh for very many good pictures at the falls, but it is always nice to see it.
Thank you for your comments to "Sunset Tranquility at Wolf Creek". This picture was taken at Wolf Creek, in the Uintah Mountains, which is in Utah. The Uintah Mountains are very unique, as they are one of the only east-west running mountain ranges in the United States. I don't know what those interesting plants are, but they were the only ones of that kind I saw camping, and I wanted to be sure and get a picture of them.

Verena! Thanks for commenting on my summer stars photo! I actually use a remote or self timer, or set up the camera and have my boyfriend push the button...lol... i love my remote, i have a nikon D60 and my boyfriend ordered the remote from online somewhere but the nikon has a setting for it and you just set the camera to remote and bam! it works! hows things been with you!?

It's amazing and very wonderful that online communities, such as Caedes, brings so many good people together from around the world who have never met. Verena was one of those people...a star here on Caedes and now, even a brighter star up in heaven. Rest in peace.
