East Side Oahu, the storm blowing in kicked up quite a swell out on the reef, and the surfers were stoked about the 12ft clean sets. Re-Uploading this image because I had a bit of noise in the last. .KingIan	vladimir, thanks so much for your comment and advice on my "Adara" image. I'm not sure, but perhaps the reason the model looks flat to you is because of all the smoothing I did to her skin. She was actually shot in a lighting studio. I did use a flash, but with incandescent lighting. For 'uhhh...' - Yes, I see what you mean with the overexposure. I guess I was going for a more dramatic effect. I also vamped up the contrast, which probably messed up the colors a little bit. For 'another girl' - Thank you! Actually, I've just discovered charcoal and have been messing around with that, I don't really like using pencil too much anymore... You should try charcoal too, it's so much easier to blend with. As for specifics, like how you could improve on drawing the eyes an nose, I'm not really sure, I think I'd need to see one of your drawings. (I'm sure they're not as shitty as you think ;) you should upload one one here. Thanks again for both comments! I appreciate it! -rachel Light travels faster than sound.
