Verity, I'm glad my note made you smile. Your White Rose I is on my desktop now, making ME smile. I'll look forward to seeing more of your lovely photos! - Patty
Thanks for your comment on Have a Seat. Don't think of it as a frame, it's simply cropping the image to the size I want. Then in order to post it onto caedes its got to be the correct proportion (1600x1200 in this case). Simply go into photoshop and create a new 1600x1200 document, place you photo in there and size it so the largest edge meets the sides of the document; where the 1600x1200 box is larger than the image, the background will show (a background of black usually looks best)
Hello again Verity!
Thanks so much for your very kind comments at, "Wildflowers Roam." I'm glad you enjoyed the Japanese Garden series also. Sure hope I get a chance to go back there; the place is beautiful.

Thanks for viewing and commenting on California Wine Country. I love that photo and yet it's got one of my lower scores. I like knowing that someone else liked it too. Donna

I'm glad you saw Wren's Song. Pat spotted it, not me, but I got the honor of snapping it and playing around in photoshop with the background. I love the colors and the edges also. We have a guy in town who plants his flower garden in a spot where everyone can enjoy them, and he also adds the names of them, which I really enjoy :))PJ

I'm glad you liked Majestic Monarchy. It was very nice of her to pose of those flowers whose heads perfectly matched her body. It's always fun to post a butterfly capture when it's possible. :)PJ

Thanks for commenting on "Otto Farm" Verity. No one lives there because the park service owns it. The outside is somewhat fixed up, but needs more repair. The inside is pretty bad. It would need a lot of work to make the inside liveable. It does have a beautiful view of the Antietam Battlefield with rolling hills of farmland, as it sits up on a hill itself .
Hi Verity, Thanks for the nice words on "Red Baron." I've never ridden in an open-cockpit before but I can only image the thrill it must be to feel the wind and hear the roar of the engine like that.

No, it's not a car hood you saw on Ravishing Radishes, but I can see why you might think so... it's a black, saved, upsidedown deli platter I had hanging around and it's perched on the side of my deck railing..so you are seeing trees and the sky reflected in it ...I almost always save everything..lol.. and I was glad I did when that resurfaced to help me create a background so I didn't have to spend hours in Photoshop making a backdrop for those lovely colors in the radishes. I use what I have at hand. :)PJ
Hi Verity, Thank you so much for stopping by "Three's Company" & leaving such nice comments. Glad you enjoyed my deer pic. Also, I appreciate you taking a look at my gallery. I am pleased you enjoyed it as well. Thanks again, Sherree
Hi Verity, thanks for complimenting my gallery. It was really nice to read your comment. It has spurred me on to get out there and snap some new shots to submit. I really admire your white rose series. They have a very elegant feel to them. I look forward to seeing more of your work, yours, Iain.
Another vote for the color version, thanks Verity, I really enjoyed your awesome comments and for letting me know your preference... I'm glad you liked it.

Thanks for the comments on 'Fernando Llama' I really appreciate it. It's really Fernando Lamas an actor. And if you tried to hug that critter he would probably spit on you, which ould not be pleasant at all.

Thanks for your comments on Swiss Castle and Flowers for M'Lady. I was in Europe for three weeks around 1990. Would like to return sometime. You will have plenty of opportunity for adventures abroad. I know you will. You have the desire. You're half way there.

Hi Verity, I'm glad you came by to check out the Canopy. I should have gotten down on the ground to shoot it, but I was a wee bit lazy and my husband wanted to move on.
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Hoi Verity, thanks for your nice comment on a image i shot during a holliday in the European Alps, yes it is a dreamhouse isn't....you know, only about 300 meters further is even a nice lake, directly situated und a beautifull mountain, it was a great place to be.
I just had a quick view at your gallerie page, man oh man, there are some great pictures to admire for sure, when i have more time, i will return and view them in full size.
Hey Verity. Thanks for your kind comment on A Rose Boquet For You. The reason I'm not going to post any more roses for a while is because I'm waiting for new roses to grow on my bush, so that I'll have more positions to shoot from and I wanted to maybe move onto another subjuect. Well, thanks again for your nice comment!

Hi Verity, Thanks for stopping by 'The Guardian', personally I think this guy in your Garden would be a bit scary you know,Thanks for your kind words, every one of them means so much to me........Tony.
Hi :) thanks for the comments on close up Hydra. actually this is a wonderful color and Im most certain you have the talent to create whatever you desire if you put your mind to it. Have a great day.
Sometimes you trust someone who turns out not to be honest. There are a lot of things that happen in life that don't turn out the way you're given the impression that they will. And I think that's all kind of a con. But I think we've probably all been hurt.

Hi Verity, I'm behind on thank yous. Sorry it took so long. Thank you for all your kind words since the last time. You had a question about the softness in the green on Rocky Mountain Pond. Well, that's just the way it was. Let me add however that the green part was so green because it was all wetland/bog/swamp. So, you probably would not want to take a nap in there. Ah........maybe a wetnap. Take care..........Michael
