I hope you folks can appreciate all the hard work I went through to get this photo. I had to reroute what seemed like a km of power, cable and telephone wires. Uproot a few utility poles and sign posts. Set up roadblocks and delayed a parade down Main Street. All that and a few more things that are best left unsaid. Now I have to put everything back in it's place. I only wish I had thought to take a before photo... This building originally started out as the town post office back in 1884. When the post office moved to its new building, one of those sad looking glass cubes, it was used as the police station. Then the police got a brand new building a few years back. Town council just happened to be looking for a place to set up business because their old digs were in need of repair that they were unwilling to pay. So instead they decided in their wisdom to renovate this building, doubling it in size, and probably spending more money in the process than repairs to the old townhall. They at least retained the same building style for the addition which was completed in 2004. Thankfully I live outside of town so it wasn't my money they were wasting. Hope you enjoy and your comments welcomed.
