I have never been over enthusistic about the Art Deco style in architecture or furniture, but I do like AD ceramic ware. I decided to use my Clarice Cliff vase (c.1934) which was inherited from my mother-in-law and of which I am particularly fond, in an attempt at making poster.
The photo was one of over 70 shots! I could not get it right as kept getting a wall shadow and flash reflection. Finally I discovered I could turn off the auto flash on my Canon 450D - a Eureka moment!
