Yeah, you know the old saying about creating a silk purse from a sow's ear, right? Well this may not be a silk purse but I do intend for it to be an exercise in finding photo opportunities when you might think there aren't any. In this case I am reduced to an iPhone camera (since my DSLR died) and too busy home working on projects to go out looking for idyllic landscapes (a young woman Caedesian, years ago, often complained that in her somewhat barren part of Kansas--she thought--there was nothing to shoot, until I got her to look closer, for macro captures), so by dint of being short of opportunity, I have to rely on my ability to spot unusual views to capture. This one falls in my "Whatzit?" category, although because of my post-shutter work I have placed it in the Textures gallery. It's nothing beautiful, for sure, but unusual enough to let it sit here for a few days while you nice folks figure out what it is (it shouldn't be too difficult). Happy Trails, y'all. - nik
