A favourite of mine, (and common around here) these ethereal toothy jelly fungus are a fun challenge to capture and present. Often tiny creatures can be seen travelling in the crevasses between the teeth. Apparently they can rehydrate after a dry spell. These specimens were 2-4cm, and I added contrast to highlight the textures and make the background more stark. I jammed myself, the tripod, and a light between two logs to get this perspective.
