This tutorial is done in Photoshop CS2, but the same tools and options exist in lower versions and Elements. If your menus don't show exactly the same options as mine, but have the options you need, you're in the right place. Photo from stock xchang. --------- I've shown cropping a very wide photo here, but if your photo is close to the right proportions, you can simply use the squish option shown under "Method B" to resize it. --------- All images on this site are sRGB color, so you should convert to this color mode before doing your "Save For Web" to prevent your colors from flattening out like a cheap air mattress. --------- If you don't want to crop your image, but would rather add space, please see Tutorial 2.
