I found this on my iPhone. I must have taken it last autumn on a walk as we are surrounded by orchards. We even have a cider museum. To me, this image captures the essence of my home area, the gentle rolling hills, valleys full of orchards that fit any odd shaped area between the pastures and ploughed land that figure so often in my pictures posed here. It is a gentle place, quiet and unpolluted with algae and lichen covered trees that have never seen a herbicide and I am fortunate enough to be able to look out over and wander through this landscape in the borders between England and Wales.
