Nearby water reflects the light from Space Shuttle Discovery as it heads for blue sky from Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Centre. Launching on mission STS-120 to the International Space Station, lift off was on time shortly before midday on Tuesday. As well as the usual clean ups/refinements, I have opened up the deep shadows in the foreground and boosted the colour and contrast overall.
