The color of this caught my eye as that rich blue-purple is not as common in the garden. Then the scent hits you and it smells like a cross between cherry pie, vanilla and a grape popsicle. Besides the beautiful color and the scent it has wonderful deeply ribbed foliage. It's a member of the borage family.
