Earlier this week I went to the Butterflies and Blooms exhibit at the Chicago Botanic Garden. It is in a separate screen dome at the far end of the gardens away from any other display. The exhibit runs for 4 months and is closed when it rains (which has been most of June). The butterflies are all tropical mostly from South America, Malaysia and The Phillipines. They were not well identified which is a serious problem at this garden so I've been able to identify only a few of the ones I took shots of. This one is unidentified but was quite beautiful and fairly large. PS: MY THANKS TO CONNIE WHO FOUND A LINK THAT HELPED IDENTIFY SOME OF MY UNPOSTED BUTTERFLIES AS WELL AS THIS ONE WHICH IS A WHITE ADMIRAL!
