Our next artist to be showcased has this beautiful, sensible, username, but we call her Liz? :=)
I present to you allisontaylor complete with her bio. Please visit her lovely gallery and while browsing there, leave her some laudatory words!

My first thought after reading Mimi's news about being nominated to be showcased was "what IS going here??! " Not only shock but complete resistance to the validity of feeling any of the images in my gallery to be experienced or evolved enough to be considered... My late mother's words flooded into the forefront. "Just say thank you!" she always reminded me. So thank you, I feel very honored to be nominated.

I found Caedes by accident from a comment made by someone in a music forum. Saying it was the only site they found original wall papers to download. I wrote the name down on my notes to visit at a later time. I visited the site quite often after that, intrigued by the diverse submissions and creativity even beyond photography. I never expected to ever submit any of my photos. Though slowly I began to think about some of the places, things and other various sight that I noticed but that I learned over time to not mention to the majority of people I interact with since I usually get that weird puzzled question look that I took for "what is she going on about?". I still do, but I no longer feel strange or odd for the way I "see" things.

So ALL of you inspire me everyday....You bring out those first influences I had from my mother and great grandfather. She being so in tune with natural beauty and he taught me about weather, plants, wildlife and other fascinations. Two of the few people, that reinforced importance to "really"notice and appreciate other things beyond work and daily struggles. Many, many here have been very generous with their time to encourage and share knowledge with me. I sincerely can not express how much it has helped me. Thank you seems too little to say for allowing me a place to learn and spend time with like minded people.

I have used many cameras over the years. Currently I am using a Canon EOS T2i/550D most. I hope to add more equipment as my finances and hopefully evolving abilities allow. I can't say I have a favorite image, though "The River Dance" I and II are memorable to me both for the solitude of the morning they were taken and that they needed no editing other than cropping.

Originally from TX, I spent a large portion of my childhood in north Mississippi. I currently live on the Gulf Coast with a very nice man who still seems to like me. We have a yours, mine and ours family. He a daughter, I brought a son, and we have a daughter together.

Again, thank you for your encouragement and friendships!
