I am wondering about something. I just viewed a photo, then it gave me vote points, well, it happened to be a below average photo..but then when I clicked Vote...it said I viewed and downloaded it. I did not download it...it was not a clear photo for the desktop. So why does it come up as a download? I thought downloads mean the person put it on their hard drive or saved it into their files...I did neither. Can you explain please?Thanx

ok, I have to say something about this. Recently you've been asking questions that I would have expected you to know the answers to by now since you been a regular on the site for quite a while now. Anyway, this has been covered at least once already in the discussion forum, but to answer the question again; a download is when you view an image full size. On the web, saving a file and just viewing it is the same thing from the server's perspective.

Additionally, I had a lot of trouble reading your question, so it would be a good idea to proof read your post a bit for clarity. And finally, you keep putting these discussions about how the website works in the Art discussion forum. I have to move them every time. Can we please keep this forum for Art discussion only. *rips out own hair*

I do not have time to sit and read every single topic, due to a "few" serious problems in my life. I would be surprised to learn you grew up with a computer since you obviously have trouble with some basic stuff, just like you yourself point out... (That doesn't match the fast typing though typically, I'm painfully slow myself...) No shame in that though but I'm also surprised you can not find answers to such questions by your self or can't seem to learn what to post where. I didn't grow up with a computer either but that does not stop me from trying to understand things on my own.

I have plenty of ways to learn, I thought it was a easy question, but I think now it was a stupid question on my part. But oh well, we all make mistakes eh? So, believe it or not, life goes on.
