A breeze blew across the field and I heard whispers of: "He doesn't know beans." Most non conformists are viewed this way.

I added a slight texture (one of my own) to this scene. The corn stalk got there on its own.

Wonderful lighting throughout this!...the texture has added some welcome noise which pulls the eye into the scene!

You could probably use that corn stalk as flag for your golf club!

It has a very strong "art" vibe to it, Ron. Very nice. I see the occasional corn stalk in soybean, wheat, and alfalfa fields here as well, and it comes from seeds from the previous crop that didn't germinate the year before, but did this year. -Nik

And boy, have you dared. This has a strong Impressionist feel to it. Love the use of light and the textures.

Nonconformist impressionist. Try repeating it quickly. I did and got "shhhhhhhhhhh..." in the result. Maybe I am developing some lisp. Yours truly ssssecret agent. LOL
Love the impressionist effect here, I do.

Looks like the red-headed step child of the grain field.

Good composition and colours in this snap Ron.
