I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year.

The moon and testure is courtesy of Lenabem-Ann on Flikr. I blended some of my textures with hers to get the look I wanted. The falling snow is courtesy of Ipiccy. The rest of the scene is from yours truly. The Cardinal flew in from another photo session of mine. I must say the horses were quite patient while all this was going on. I might have to get them some apples for Christmas. I thought Doug (Snapshooter) might like the blue tint in this one. I hope the rest of you do as well. The photo really isn't crooked, it is just the lay of the land. I did say it was Missouri not Kansas.

I like the one red cardinal in the picture and it made me think what Christmas lights may have looked like for that tree, for this picture.

As for other things that reminded me of something, the horses millings around, like the sheep on the hill, some 2000+ years ago, as the birth star crossed the sky.

Excellent picture Tick. Merry Christmas to you and your family and best wishes for the New Year. ~~ John

This may well be the prettiest moonlit scene I've ever encountered. Kathy and Sandi covered everything else I would have offered.
Just be sure to get those apples to the horses.

You've 'collected' all ingredients to make this to a wonderful Christmas card, Tick. If this creation doesn't result in an appropriate Christmassy feeling, nothing else will succeed.

Although I've already wished you and your beloved ones a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2014, I like, referring to the saying 'better twice than never', to repeat this wish.

Thanks for this wonderful posting, Ron.

Regards, Cornelius.

I like the overall effect in this image Tick. A beautiful winter scene with all the trimmings. Just the right one for Christmas time. The falling snow and the animals add much to this scene. Great work!
