Some folks were wanting to see the entire house from this post the other day. There isn't much more to add in the way of information. If I were younger, and had a tad more money, I might try to buy it; but word is out that it can't be bought. I have a feeling for the right price it could change hands. I left it in color to show how it actually looks.

My, it is a house of character and would be a great fixer-upper. Must have been impressive in its day. Nice shot.

A few coats of paint and some shrubs out front; she'll be good as new. I'd still be concerned about the woman peeking out behind the blinds upstairs. Good one, TicK.

That surely looks a good bargain at any price and would look great if care and time allows to recondition this enchanted building....

looking at it on my screen...it might be worth doing this up...

I can only think of how it must have been when I see this house Tick. I think in the moonlight it will look really nice.

If those walls could talk - image the stories. It would be cool to know who lived in that house from the time it was built and what happened to the people through the years. The house does have potential but most likely never to be restored. Good to see the entire house!!!

I couldn't afford a ritzy place like that. It would cost me $29.99 a couple a times over just to paint it! How much for the flag pole? Excellent shot, Tick. Crystal clear all the way through.

This has so many wonderful Victorian gingerbread elements I'm sure it could be quite the beauty - thanks for letting us see the whole thing Tick.

Thanks for the full view Tic, the roof doesn't look too bad and there's no apparent sign of vandalism, although I daren't step out on the balcony!

A fine photograph, it's a shame that the homeless aren't allowed to occupy it. In the UK if a building is left vacant too long the council has powers of compulsory purchase at a low price.

A shame it's gone to ruin...it has such a charming style and is quite a good size too...in taking the time to pause over this image you can 'almost' sense the sights and sounds of life that once occupied this property.

A case could be made that this lovely home is more Eric than Julia (Juliet). lol. The house could use some Sears Weatherbeater to spruce it up. I am on a "reality" kick right now and I appreciate you posting it as it is. I do not see any power connected to it but do see rather new blinds in windows and door. What, no flag for the pole!! ;)

Appreciate seeing the whole house Tick. It is still beautiful in its old age and state. What a shame it is not being restored to its former glory. The original owners must have been so proud of it

The garage is in better shape than the house. I'm glad we get to see the whole shot, it is a shame that they don't do something to give it a face lift. tigz=^..^=

I'm sure it's been damaged severely by insects and rot but have you ever seen some of the old buildings brought back to life, on the HGTV show "Fixer Upper?" With the right kind of money to buy it and reclaim it, as a long-time carpenter I'd bet it could be brought back to its former glory. Most of what we see here could be reconditioned and left in place, except for maybe those more modern and much more tacky aluminum storm windows on the bow windows below the balcony your detailed photo showed us. If anyone does just that, please get another "after" shot of it to show us, Ron.

Great character in the building style and great details in the photo. TicK. Nice composition and lighting in the scene. Too bad the house will probably rot away instead of being fixed up.
