My grandson was prepared for battle as he awaited the next play in a football contest. This was taken last fall during his senior year in High School. Hard to believe he has graduated. He posted on this site for a short time, but moved on to enjoy his youth as he became a man. He is currently training to be a lineman for an electrical company. He is talking about going to Puerto Rico to help restore their electricity when he graduates later this year.

Here is a link to his gallery. I thought this might make a good contest entry. It has been a long time since I entered one.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Times fly, Tick. It was like yesterday when Stixx has posted his images. I've the same sentiment about my grandsons. It's like yesterday too that one of them was sitting on my knees singing along with 'opa' some songs about small trains passing by , ☺ . Now he's even taller than me.
Wonderful shot taken by a proud granddad. Meets perfectly the current contest topic. If it will be your entry, Good Luck with Owd Fella!

He is a fine figure of a young man. Good upbringing...I can hear the goodness in him. You must be proud. Good shot of the wait before the tackle.

Since he seems to be all alone while waiting for the play to begin, I guess defensive back. I wish him well in his training and thank him for his service to the people of Puerto Rico, who need it so badly.

Nice to have an update on your grandson.
I enjoyed looking at his gallery too.
Easy to detect you are very rightly proud of him :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
