All the photos were taken June 3rd, 2019 while I was inspecting the flood on the Mississippi River. All these photo were taken in Quincy, Illinois. The photo in the background shows the two vehicular bridges in the foreground and the railway bridge in the background.

The clothesline and the frames were included on a CD in a edition of Digital Photo magazine. I don't recall what edition but it is over 5 years ago. The photos in the frame show some of the flood damage along the river park.

I can hear your voice begging for the new gallery, Tick. Unfortunately for you and us is that my ears are not the important ones for your message to reach. I am guessing, at best, there are only three active or semi-active mods left. They have seen your requests and done nothing. That's our world.

Like Richie, I love your very creative dark room. Didn't know they still made clothes pins. LOL .... --- .--. . / -.-- --- ..- / --. . - / -.-- --- ..- .-. / .-- .. ... ....

What a cool and creative way to display and give title to more of your flood damage shots!...great camera work and reporting, Tick...btw, as I also told Nik, I posted a request for a Photojournalism gallery on the 'feature/bug/bloat' discussion board so hoping Geri will see it and give some thought to it...you can view that post HERE...maybe if others add supporting comments there and we make a loud enough noise it will happen...keeping fingers crossed...meantime, I am faving this very worthy and well done post.

Well done Tick with the "Polaroid version" of your photos and the clothesline. I wonder how much damage the floods have caused to people and farmers.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this collage is a very inventive way to provide us with a proper impression what flooding can do with respect to the material aspects.
I know by own experience what it does with the mental aspects too.
Think that friends who weren't dealing with such an experience, aren't in need for a vivid imagination, to realize that these floodings cause both material and mental damage: really a disaster!

Excellent addition of this 'photo journalism' series!

How often does the Quincy area get nailed like this, Ron? Every year? More lately? Ya s'poze this is a sign of climate change?
