Out playing with my new zoom lens and found this pretty butterfly. I love the shadow the late evening sun cast here.

Love the composition here. Definitely fits right into the rustic theme. I think it's probably a moth rather than a butterfly, but whatever it is the color fits in perfectly.

I know you felt a risk in coughing up the moolah for this lens, Laura, but wow(!!!), what a money shot you have here. Great color, focus, and the diagonal composition is classic. I remember you once (or twice) saying something about not a heckuva lot to shoot in eastern Kansas. It appears this lens is opening up a whole new world for you.. the macro world below our view. Beautiful job, girl!
