This brings back memories of when I was a kid and my family had no money to waste on things like tickets. Tickets for the circus, tickets for movies, tickets for the rodeo. Luckily the rodeo was the easiest to sneak into; we just waited at the back barbed-wire fence until the crowd roared real loud. It meant something major was happening in the dirt, that pretty much every eyeball would be on the arena, and no one would notice some snot-noses sneaking through the fence and mingling with the stalls people. We had better seats that way, anyway. I remember being so close to the action that I could hear the ribs of one cowboy crack when the horse he was trying to stay on rolled over him instead. It's a cool shot, Luara, particularly because it's at night time, and it's kids, always a great subject, but you may want to set your shutter speed a little faster and your exposure a little higher to compensate for the speed.

A very fine photograph to me, Laura. I've enjoyed your narrative and 'Nikoneer''s comment very much as well. The boy with the brown shirt who's looking to the right resembles very much with one of my grandsons. See at his face that he has no fear as well, lol.
